Awesome introduction to Bucharest 🇷🇴 - Elena was an amazing tour guide: informative, funny and with a great attitude. She gave us lots of tips of places to visit beyond our walking tour program and we felt like we had a great idea of the city upon finishing the tour. What an awesome introduction to Bucharest & Romania 🇷🇴!

Mara....the Queen of Bucharest - Mara is the Queen of Tour Guides in Bucharest. Knowledgeable and fun, she is the one person who you want to spend a day with around the beauty of the city, without being pretentious. Her boyfriend is a pretty good laugh as well, for later on.

Outstanding. Made Bucharest worth the visit - Mara provided this tour (via Get. Your Guide). It’s worth trying to get her rather than others as she was outstanding, contact her direct on Mara’s Tours and Travel website. I’m an experienced traveller but l would not have discovered half the places we viewed if I’d walked around on my own. This particularly applies to Bucharest where lots of the nicer parts are concealed behind the tower blocks. She is local, friendly, very experienced as a guide and knowledgeable,

Great tour with Julian - Booked this tour from GetYourGuide app. On the day of the tour I was unsure if I was in the right meeting place. I contacted them to make sure and was made aware my tour guide was near which put me at ease. Julian was an amazing and friendly tour guide. He was able to answer any questions I had and we was chatting away about life in Romania and my life back home. His knowledge of past history was fantastic as we walked and stopped around the city. Julian also pointed out places to eat etc which was useful. Also Julian is great at taking photos. Before this tour I didn’t know much about Bucharest and Romania in general but now I know a few things. As it was my first time in Romania after this tour I felt more confident to explore the city myself. I’d recommend this tour to any friends or family if they visit.
