After checking in, you will get geared up, go through a pre-trip safety talk and video and then jump on the bus for short ride to the put-in. Then in it’s down the river you go to enjoy the Nantahala’s fun and splashy rapids along with the spectacular mountain scenery of the Nantahala River Gorge. The grand finale of the trip is the Class III Nantahala Falls!

Best last minute decision - Great trip! Well worth it! Our guide Big Joe was excellent. Can't say enough good things about him. He pointed out awesome things & was very informative. Very down to earth & personable. Highly recommend this place. Staff was super friendly & very helpful. Thanks y'all😁

Rafting experience - Had a good time while rafting with NOC. Jacob was our guide. He kept us entertained with his 1 liners throughout the rafting. The river had level 1-3 rapids, and the views throughout were beautiful.

Great experience! - Absolutely loved our rafting trip! Big John was an amazing guide. Super knowledgeable about the area, made the kids feel really involved and led a great trip. Highly recommend for families and first time rafters. Rapids are fun and just enough of a thrill to get you hooked for another and bigger trip!

Must do!! - Amazing experience! Our guide Dave was phenomenal and guided us through each part of the river! Some tricky parts but all stayed in thanks to Dave! Kids had fun and even jumped in to cool off on a warm March day! Beautiful day!!

Nantahala Guided Tour - Big Joe was our guide and he was great. The entire experience was amazing. He was knowledgeable and had great stories. We were definitely in good hands and we would already love to do it again. It was so much fun! Thank you so much, Big Joe!

Great times in the smokies - Big Joe was our rafting guide and I am do glad he was. My wife and I was bringing our 9yr old grand daughter and was concerned for her safety. Joe was the man fir the job, not once did my grand daughter fear and Joe made us all feel safe and it was all about the fun. We learned to eddy out behind rocks and spun around 5 1/2 times going down one of the fun rapids. Joe was just an excellent guide who had a wealth of knowledge and history of the surrounding area and the nanny.Thanks Joe, we will definitely be back.

Perfect rafting trip with my knucklehead friends - Had an incredible time on the rafting trip. Our guide (Jacob) was excellent and fun. The river had level 1-3 rapids, and the views throughout were beautiful. NOC has great facilities with good.food and drink options too. Perfect trip. Jacob was A++++!

A Perfect Day on the River - We had a fantastic day on the river with Big Joe! There were four of us on the raft enjoying the beautiful fall leaves, the perfect sunny weather, the moderately flowing river, and the occasional rapids! And along with that Joe taught us a lot about flora and fauna of the area. Thanks for the memorable experience Joe!
