- Rue des Foulons 30 - The Waffle Workshop starts with a short introduction to the delicious world of Waffles. Then serious stuff starts when we split in teams and start cooking. After making the batter, some demonstration and a tasting session, the participants are invited to bake their own waffles and decorate them with a wide range of toppings: fresh fruits, chocolate, whipped cream, speculoose, nutella… and all the waffles you can eat + one drink!\n\nYou don’t need any previous cooking experience to attend the workshop and kids are welcome too. We provide everything you need: ingredients, toppings, instructions, cooking gear, cookware, assistance & demonstration - coming hungry is a must!

Additional Information
In this workshop, you’ll get to create your own traditional Belgian waffle dough, bake it, and adorn your waffles with cream, chocolate, and fruits of the season. There’s no need for any prior cooking experience, and children are greatly encouraged to join.
Following a brief overview, we’ll delve into the recipe, form groups, and commence our culinary adventure. We furnish everything: all the ingredients, kitchen equipment, waffle makers, a live demonstration, and support.
Feel at liberty to concoct the most original topping mixes and remember to capture the moments! Each participant will be treated with a complimentary beverage to sip alongside their waffles.
Should you consume more than nine waffles during the workshop, you will be crowned our reigning champion!! The record has been held for quite some time, and we’re on the lookout for the brave soul who’ll dethrone it!!!

Fun activity whilst in Brussels - Such a fun idea. We were in Brussels for the day and with lots of sight seeing and walking we thought this would be the perfect idea in the middle of the day. Jose and John were great hosts and showed us how to make the waffles. We were a group of 3 and had 1 bowl with all of the ingredients. We had to share the waffle makers but we all took turns and added our own toppings, there were lots of variety on offer. I would recommend 👌

Lovely host and great recipe - Authentic and just right in terms of time. Host gave some background which was a plus and offered different variations for the toppings on the waffles.

Prepare to eat! - It was a great experience. Dani was amazing at explaining the history and different types of Belgium waffles. We then got to make a lot of waffles and top it with whatever we wanted! Maria gave a lot of good recommendations of what else to do in Brussels too!

Ok but wouldn't return - It was ok, I thought it would be an individual cooking class for the cost but it wasn't you are in your family group so the three of us around one bowl making waffles only 3 irons so had to wait your turn. The staff are lovely

A ruined experience - We booked for myself and 2 children. My husband has MS and can’t use his hands so was unable to participate but wanted to sit and watch. The owner told him he had to go or pay for a place. She was very rude and told him it was like going to the cinema for free! She wasn’t interested in his disability or being accommodating. It’s rare for someone not to be kind about his disability so it was upsetting.
This ruined the experience somewhat. The actual cooking was fun although it did seem a shame that they couldn’t supply enough equipment or recipes for each group as it did mean waiting for others to finish. The actual waffles were nice but I wouldn’t recommend if you have any additional needs!
