Great beer tour guide saves the day - We booked the beer tour in English, which was confirmed on the ticket header, but down in the ticket details it said the guide would be providing the tour in Spanish. We called Viator to clarify the confusion and they did confirm the tour would be English. Lo and behold, once we showed up for the tour in person the guide Paul confirmed this was indeed a Spanish tour. This was a confusing situation all around, but to no fault of Paul obviously. We were about to leave but Paul, who spoke fluent French and English, proposed that we join the Spanish group anyways and that he would translate in English or French for us (we speak both). Paul saved the day. He took it upon himself to do the tour in two (sometimes three) languages, catering to the Spanish group first and then always coming to us for the English version. He went out of his way to make us feel included and energized, and smiled the whole way through. The tour itself included 3 stops in the core historic area of central Brussels and 4 beers that my wife and I shared. Paul was a genuine beer expert and we could really feel his passion. We learned a lot and had a good time.
