Additional Information

Get acquainted with the fundamentals of stand-up paddle boarding on the shore before we embark from Mere Point in Brunswick for a relaxing 2.5 hour morning excursion through Northwest Casco Bay! We’ll navigate towards an exemplary oyster farm and proceed to an island to shuck and have a complimentary sample of the lusciously sweet and salty fresh oysters from Maine.

Stand-up paddle boarding is a fantastic, enjoyable means to sightsee from the water. We are likely to observe cormorants, sea gulls, osprey, great blue herons, snowy egrets, ducks, and maybe witness fish leaping or a seal.

Paddling enthusiasts of a minimum age of 12 will thoroughly enjoy exploring Casco Bay in this protected, picturesque, historic region! There will a halt on land where we’ll stretch, savor the oysters and indulge in some snacks that you opt to bring.

Wonderful stand-up paddleboard outing! - My wife and I had our first-ever stand-up paddleboard outing with Alice on a cool, calm and quite Sunday morning in July. After Alice greeted us and gave us a lesson on how to paddle and be safe on the board, we scooted out into glass-smooth Casco Bay. As we calmly and confidently paddled around beautiful Merepoint, Alice told us all about the local area, its history and lore, and the natural formations that make the area so pretty. We enjoyed a mid-outing snack break on a rocky shore, and then paddled back to the dock. Such an enjoyable outing led by a warm and knowledgeable guide!
