Surprisingly AWESOME! - At first, I didn't expect much from this, but we (and 2 other couples) quickly realized Jonathan was incredibly engaging, witty, and knowledgeable in all kinds of amazing history facts and stories behind the various tastings. The real enjoyment came from what we learned more than what we tasted. We even learned about the connection of Belgian beer brewing to witches and why they are characterized today with pointy hats, cats, and brooms. There were many mindblowing facts revealed throughout the tour. After a two week vacation in 5 countries, this stood out as one of our favorite activities of our trip. Also, as an FYI, the tour is only $3 to book on viator but the recommended donation to the tour guide is 15€ per person, which was very reasonable. VERY highly recommended!!! Don't hesitate to book this tour!

Great tour! Wonderful food! - Great Tour! Luis was very personable and informative. Loved the food and history of the town, he took us to many places and informed us of other delicious stops to try.

Unique, low cost, and tasty way to learn about Bruges - The guide, Martin, was engaging & knowledgeable. The history mixed in with the food tasting and a bit of a walking tour was the perfect experience! It is amazing that all we had to pay for this was a very small admin fee. I highly recommended this tour!

Taste of Bruges - Excellent very informative would recommend to anyone. Tried fries with mayo, 2 lots of chocs, Belgium sweets, waffles and beer, our guide Martin was second to none.

Absolutely perfect start to our stay in Bruges! - Our tour guide, Lavigna, was engaging and humorous! She delighted us with her knowledge and stories as she grew up here. We visited her favorite and sometimes hidden spots for free samples of Belgian fries, chocolates, waffles, and beer. As a non-beer drinker, she even encouraged me to give the unique offering a try- and it was quite delicious. Thank you Lavigna!

Good tour for first-timers to Belgium. - Perfect for those who are fist-time visitors to Belgium. For a free tour excluding tip, this was a very good value. Unfortunately, we were at the tail end of a river cruise and had a tour in Brussels the day before, so what we learned was a bit repetitive. Nonetheless, I would recommend this tour.

Good and reasonably lucky in terms of time - Fun and tasty experience. There were only four of us, so it was extra good. Hilde the guide was superb ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Smooth and easy. Chocolate, fries, waffles and beer. At the same time historical stories.

A good introduction to Belgian foods. - A good first-timer’s tour to introduce you to the foods of Brussels. Fries, chocolates, waffles and beer are all offered as part of the one hour+ tour. I downgraded my score because it was more of a multi-stop tasting rather than one that included stories about the gastronomy of Belgium.

Disappointed and frustrated - We waited and waited for 35 minutes for our guide to show up....never did. No email or text to tell us what happened.
