Wonderful experience - From start to finish, this trip tucked every box for us - comfortable coach, exceptionally knowledgeable guide whose commentary brought the whole experience to life, and the sites we visited, each one with a poignant story to tell. The climax, the Last Post at the Menin Gate, was very moving. For a couple who were born many years after the Great War, we have gained an insight into what our great uncles, and thousands of other young men, endured, and died for, in the name of freedom. This trip is highly recommended.

History of the Great War - I enjoyed the Flanders Fields Rememberance tour with Brussels City Tours/Keolis. Our guide Diederiek Naeyaert was amazing! He has encyclopediac knowledge of First World War history, and he personably and skillfully shared this history in interesting detail, as we toured the cemeteries, monuments, memorials and famous battlefields of the war. He made the tour informative, interesting, educational and meaningful. He's a top tour guide! I will be telling my friends and social media contacts that this tour, with Diederiek Naeyaert as guide is a must do activity when visiting Bruges! Well done, Viator for arranging this enjoyable tour!

Recommend the Flanders Field Day Tour - Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and we so enjoyed all the little details that we may not have know had we done this trip solo! The day flew by! Bus was comfortable, the driver excellent! I recommend this day trip! Ploughmans lunch with a glass of wine and visiting with other tourists was enjoyable!

Thorough full-day experience - The trip was very thorough - we visited the German, French, and Commonwealth WWI graveyards, followed by the Flanders Fields Museum and closed the day with commemorative ceremony at the arch. The tour guide structured the day around the amount of daylight we had, which was very thoughtful. At lunch, we were able to chat with other members of the tour and meet new people.

Excellent tour - An excellent tour. The guide was knowledgeable and kept our 2 boys entertained throughout (it helps that they do love history and anything related to WW1 and WW2). It was a very humbling experience for us all. A once in a life-time trip which we will strongly recommend.

A very full and educational day - First off, a big thank you to our guide Diedericke for his amazing knowledge and expertise in the Ypres battles. He very much deserves 5*. It was difficult to fit so much in one day, but we somehow managed although we would have liked more time at the Paschendale museum and at Tyne Cot. Sadly, the In Flanders Fields museum was closed and at the time of our visit the Menin Gate is undergoing refurbishment. The ceremony was perfectly observed by the large crowd, but the moment was a little spoiled by the scaffolding and construction vehicles. I would wait until the works are finished before going if you can. Lunch was provided at the Hooge crater museum cafe and there was free time in Ypres for dinner before the 8pm ceremony.
