With the assistance of our knowledgeable guide, you’ll gain insight into the causes and progression of the first world war. We journey to the battlefield of Passchendaele and the Tyne Cot Cemetery, the world’s largest Commonwealth graveyard, which is the eternal home of British, Australian, and Canadian soldiers. We also pay our respects at the Monument of the ‘Brooding Soldier’ and Essex Farm.
By 8 pm, we partake in the Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate, a daily act of homage to all missing Commonwealth soldiers and officers post-battle.
