Presented by the team from Willie Creek Pearls, this unique 1.5 hour tour offers a guided commentary on Broome’s fascinating pearling history. Travel back in time to an era of courageous people who lived a life of danger, fortune and adventure both on and off the water. Guests are captivated as 150 years of Broome’s unique maritime and pearling heritage is uncovered in the very environment where the history was made
Pearl Luggers is located right in the heart of Broome’s Chinatown and features a fully rigged and restored pearl lugger, the vessel synonymous with Broome, surrounded by a reconstructed tidal jetty and authentic pearlers store. It is without doubt the closest link to the pearling era of long ago where daily life ebbed and flowed with the comings and goings of the great pearl luggers fleet.

Outstanding Pearl lugger tour. - Excellent tour.
Leah was 100% engaged and very knowledgable with a lovely manner.
We learnt a vast amount about Broome, historically and currently.
Recommend very highly,
We took our 10 yo granddaughter who was totally enthralled with the diving gear.

Cheap and informative - Cheap and informative. Great history lesson on Broome and pearling industry. Was unable to go to the actual farm, but after doing this I wish I had. Better than the town tour I think

Must do! - Big Stu was so informative, very interesting peak into Brooke’s history and the pearling industry. Incredible artifacts on display. Great for kids too. Highly recommend.

Informative tour & good fun with Stuart as your guide! - I'd highly recommend this tour, we decided to do it on our first day in Broome. Stuart our guide was fab, full of information and made it good fun. You learn so much about the history of Broome, the pearling industry and even get the chance to try pearl meat! Definitely worth booking on this tour xx

For the love of Pearls - We were booked on the Willies Creek Pearl Farm tour, due to bad conditions, it had to be cancelled. I was REALLY disappointed. We were given the opportunity to join the Pearl Luggers Tour in Broome and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. It was the most informative tour giving me a whole new understanding and appreciation for Pearls - I am more in love with pearls now than ever before. Thank you to Stuart for explaining, showing, and giving us a wonderful experience.

Another must do in Broome - Enjoyed this pearl luggers tour - very informative and interesting. We originally booked the Pearl Farm Tour but due to bad weather, the road was washed out and we were unable to go out there. Willie Creek contacted us and offered a full refund and also offered us the Pearl Luggers Tour as compensation for the inconvenience. The tour also included some morning tea, which was delightful. Stuart was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and patient with all the questions from all the different personalities.
