Fantastic trip to Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre - We loved every minute of this tour. Our guide, Steve, was exceptional, telling us all about Sth Africa on the drive to the Centre. The Centre itself was great. You can get within metres of the cheetahs and wild dogs. Watching them being fed was very interesting.

Time well spent - This experience is packed with information from both the tour driver and tour guide in the centre. Our driver, Collins, was on time, cheerful and super informative about his beloved country. Our tour guide, Sam, told us about the animals we saw plus birds and plants.

Amazing work to protect the species - Collins our driver, was polite, friendly and a safe driver. Shared all his knowledge on the trip to Cheetah centre about the history of South Africa, how it came about and pointed out places of intrest. The Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre, was very personal and restrictions in number and tours each day. Made for an excellent experience. The work they are doing is first class to protect the species in there care. The guide gave complete information on all of animal/birds we saw. Felt complete safe on on the tour around sanctuary, getting up close to all the animals. Tour was in an open sided safari vechile. On our trip there was only two people sat in each row of seats, so great for viewing. Seeing the Cheetahs and wild dogs roaming free was was what had wanted to witness. In all an excellent trip, with very knowledge driver and guides made for a great experience. I would definitely recommend thus tour.

Visit to the Cheetah Centre - The animals were amazing, from the cheetahs and the cheetah run, to the king cheetah, the wild dogs and spotted hyena. Banele was punctual, knowledgeable and very professional.

Very much worth the time while in the Joburg area! - This was a full 6 hour excursion, even though it was technically only a half day. The drive to the cheetah center is 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. We had some very nice employees show us through the animal pens and provide very interesting details on each animal viewed. The cheetahs are the stars of the show and we got to observe George interact with them and feed them. Equally intriguing, though, was the visit to the African Wild dog enclosure. Fascinating! If you don't have your own rental car, this excursion is perfect to visit this very interesting site.

Stephenson's Excellent, Centre worth a visit - Our driver from Stephenson's Adventures was excellent (Banele), he gave us lots of good information on the drive to the centre. The car was quite new and immaculately clean. On arrival at the Cheetah Centre he escorted us to the Museum down the back to read the information there as we had time before the tour started. The tour itself was good, and we viewed lots of animals with information supplied about the animals, but I had expected more information would be provided about the origins of the animals, the breeding program and how they are returned to the bush. Most of the information on this was in the Museum, but I don't believe the other people on the tour even got time in the Museum, so we were very thankful that Banele took us there. Even so, if you have time it's an interesting place to visit and I highly recommend Stephenson's tours to take you.
