- Glass House Mountains - As the journey crosses the bridge to Bribie Island, enjoy the view of the sparkling Pumicestone Passage and the breathtaking Glass House Mountains on the horizon.
- Bongaree Beach - Upon arrival at Bribie Island, there will be time to explore the delightful seaside town of Bongaree. Stroll along the waterfront jetty, explore local shops, enjoy a coffee, or simply relax and admire the serene views across the Pumicestone Passage. With its lush parklands, gentle sea breeze, and relaxed coastal vibe, Bongaree is the ideal spot to unwind and embrace island life.
- Woorim Beach - Take a refreshing swim at the stunning Woorim Beach. After everyone is rejuvenated, enjoy a leisurely seaside lunch.
- Bribie Island - After exploring the National Park and coastal beaches, the journey back to the original pick-up point begins. If the timing is right, there will be a stop at a local roosting site to witness the flying foxes (fruit bats) as they awaken and take flight — a spectacular sight at sunset. It’s a relaxed and memorable way to conclude the Bribie Island adventure.
- Bribie Island National Park - Experience a 4WD drive along the surf beach to Norfolk Lagoon, a tranquil freshwater lagoon nestled behind the dunes. Here, spot local wildlife and enjoy a refreshing swim. Two stand-up paddle boards will be inflated for guests to share — a wonderful way to unwind on the water.
From here, continue the beach drive to Welsby Lagoon for a scenic lookout before heading further north towards the historic Fort Bribie WWII bunkers. Constructed in the 1940s to defend the coastline, these impressive concrete structures remain today. There will be ample time to explore the bunkers, learn about their history, and appreciate the rugged beauty of the island’s northern beaches.
