Great Sunday am experience - Ric was a great tour guide and really brought the tour to life with a folder of pics of people and places from the past. It was fascinating to understand the size of 18th century Brighton and so many potted histories and personalities. favourite parts were seeing buildings that were around then and still standing now and also the Hippodrome and the stars that played there in the past

Excellent tour and talk - We spent a fascinating morning with Ric wandering around the Lanes area. The pace was just right with loads of interesting background information, anecdotes and pictures to illustrate some key points and characters. We were slightly late due to a mixup on the meeting point (read the actual instructions, ignore what the booking site may say!) but Ric kindly took it in his stride.

A suprisingly 'big' tour of the Lanes, with many different features - The guide was friendly, informative and was happy to answer any questions. We liked the information which he gave us on various local characters from different periods.

Great tour to find out more about Brighton's history and characters - We were fortunate to be the only one's on this tour so had a lovely tour of the lanes with our guide Ric. Lasting about 90 minutes we were given a history of Brighton and some of the characters that lived here. A great way to learn more in depth about the town

A fantastic experience. This was a most interesting and informative wander through Brighton's past and present. - My 28 year old son and I found this tour a highlight of our trip to Brighton. Our guide was supremely well informed and has many interesting anecdotes to tell. He managed to answer all of our questions and kept us very well entertained. Highly recommended for a rich context of what Brighton is and was all about.

Well I thought I knew Brighton until I took this Tour! - I have been visited Brighton since I was 5 on and off over 60 years and Julian our guide told us more in an hour and 45 minutes than I had learnt in a lifetime of visits. The pub I thought was the oldest is a reproduction and is next to the real oldest pubs the Cricketers. I learnt about the history of the town now a City and the fishermen. Not to mention the Prince of Wales his mistress, the Palace, the Hippodrome, riots, gay pride, crime and how sea bathing and drinking it [yuk!] put Brighton firmly on the map. When the railway came in the mid 19th century it became a Mecca for holidaymakers, day- trippers and now Hen parties. All of human life is here in Brighton a sort of London by the Sea. Well done and well worth the money. I hope my pictures do it some justice.

Finding the Lane's - Very informative glad we did it. If anything a little over the top cost wise. Saw a lot of the old town which being new to the UK/ Brighton would not have known it was there. Rick was easy to understand and had all the answers to our questions.
