On the Signature Rum Tasting you will learn about the rich history of Mount Gay Rum after meeting your Brand Host, the tour will kick off with complimentary welcome Rum Punch. While you enjoy your cocktail your host will take you on a journey through the Legacy Museum which offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the illustrious history of Mount Gay Rum and the island of Barbados.

From there, you will view a short film which gives an explanation of the process of how Mount Gay rums are produced. Next, you will be taken to the Tasting Room where you will enjoy an experience of flavour of 3 Mount Gay rums. Your host will walk you through the tasting explaining the differences between each rum that you taste. 

To complete the tasting, you will then be taken to the Signature Bar for a chance to indulge in some wonderfully crafted cocktails with the very knowledgeable mixologists.  After the tasting, make sure to visit the gift shop to purchase some bottles or souvenirs for yourself. Some of the rums can only be purchased on the island! You can also enjoy finger foods or lunch for purchase at the Live Grill.

Fun Time!! - The rum tour was great! Firstly, the rum punch was amazinggg. We came for my friend's birthday and we were not disappointed at all! My friends and I learned a lot of new things thanks to our great tour guide who was a fun time! Side note- to our tour guide, if you see this review, hit me up! @itstounn

Good fun & really informative! - Akeel brought fun to all the history and information about Mount Gay Rum....he certainly knew his stuff & now we do!! Really good value for money...would definitely recommend it!

Excellent Rum Tasting Experience - Zaria was our guide through our mount gay rum tasting tour and she was excellent. We had a nice sized group and everyone was friendly. Zaria was very informative and also made the experience very fun and light. Highly recommend going on this tour, especially for the solo travelers like me!

Don't miss this Rum excursion - Wow! What an amazing experience at Mount Gay. Prestige Barbados Tours picked us up just outside the Barbados Port at the round about. The port staff was very friendly and helpful. They called the excursion for us to make sure they were coming. Great quick ride from the port to the distillery. One could actually walk from the port... Our guides Akeel and Rashawn were amazing.... such energy and super entertaining! You will watch a short video about Mount Gary Distillery and then get to try 3 of their rums (1 white and 2 amber). After the tasting, you will learn to create a Daiquiri and a Rum punch! What a wonderful experience and truly amazing Rum! A must do excursion in Bridgetown, Barbados!

Absolute must do while in Barbados! - Rum tasting experience was superb. Loads of history and knowledge shared by friendly Zaria. After this experience we booked a cocktail workshop which was great fun. Thank you Damien for teaching us a new skill!

On vacation - It was a great presentation.. it was. About an hour or so, so not very long. The rum was great to try the different variations. Definitely suggest.

Great rum, great experience! - We arrived a little late and were quickly caught up on what we missed. Zariah was an excellent guide, we really enjoyed her humor and personality. And the rum was excellent!

Worth the St.Lucy Drive MG Distillery Tour - This tour, totally filled with brilliant information on the History of Barbados, the History of Mount Gay it self and to physically be involved in the tasting of the elements of the Mount Gay family of rums. This tour totally impressed me! Would recommend it to anyone that is interested in a bit of history and to taste a bit of history! Our tour guide was Keely ...... incredible lad!!! Brilliant interaction with all guests!!!
