Heritage, Independence, Pride and Industry. - It was a joy to share this time with our host. (Evan?) He was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. The tour gave us an in depth understanding of the formation of the Barbados nation, particularly the period before, during and after independence. We saw several important and impressive sights in the city centre and thoroughly enjoyed wandering the streets.

Recommend for sure! - Interesting and very informative. We were late getting into port, so late getting to meeting point. Our guide waited for us (I did contact to let know. But would have understood if they had left without us). Very friendly, knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions best they could. We're provided with some water and snacks....even though we has brought water with us the extea water was very appreciated, as it was a very warm/humid day. I would recommend this tour, but make sure to wear good shoes! Sidewalks were not always level or in good repair.

Very informative and thoughtful tour from excellent guide - Excellent tour provided by Christen. A very well informed, fair-minded, articulate tour guide with a good sense of humour. We learned a lot about the history of Bridgetown from the 17th century to contemporary times. The buildings were fascinating and Christen was happy to take questions. A useful knapsack with bottled water and healthy snacks was provided too. The pace was just right. Highly recommended.
