Highly recommend particularly if Shari is your guide! - The tour was brilliant, particularly due to Shari’s knowledge, friendliness and guidance. We had a great time and ate far too much, plus brought some back to have tonight. The bakery at the beginning was the highlight for us- black cake and sweet bread the highlight. Lovely fish cakes - so much nicer than ones we had elsewhere earlier in the week. Shari balanced local knowledge of food with the history and brought alive the monuments and buildings as we walked. A special thanks to her for pacing the tour and paying special attention to the pregnant woman in our party. The pace was just right. Highly recommend this tour. All the Bajan favourites in one tour- apart from roti- but we were shown where to get a good one! We were so full at the end of the tour we had to rest when we got back! Thank you.

Great tour - Our guide, Jenel, was great. First she provided bottle of cold water for each of us. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the island (and slavery) as well as the food. We sampled so many things, I couldn’t even finish our last “meal” of Cou-Cou and fish bites. But I managed to save room for the ice cream at the last stop.

A tasty Barbados experience - Our tour with Janelle was a great experience in our Barbados trip. Learned about Barbados history followed by a walk through downtown food scene. Our tasting included hot fish cakes, macaroni pie, sorrel and local ice cream among many things. You will not go hungry on this tour!

Informative tour with great food - Paulette was excellent with a nice history lesson to learn about the place and how that influences the food found there. The food was very plentiful and begins shortly after the orientation. Some walking but not overly burdensome. We explored places we would have never found on our own. The guide has a nice relationship with all whom we visited and were welcomed at each establishment graciously. We felt safe and well cared for. Simply a pleasure. Thank you Paulette.
