Additional Information

Why opt for transparent-bottom kayaks? Our enduring dedication to safety in our immersive adventures has led us to these cutting-edge kayaks - a beautifully designed and enchanting new kayak model. The Innovex material used is not merely glass, but a robust plastic composite similar to the canopies of fighter jets. The transparent-bottom kayak doesn’t just place a window panel beneath you, but uses a complete inlay of Innovex to allow water (and by extension, bioluminescence) to surround you, ensuring a complete experience without jeopardizing kayaker safety.

Highlight of our vacation - My wife, 3 daughters, and I had a Lot of fun on this tour. Drew and Freedom were both great guides. I would definitely recommend getting the clear kayaks. We saw bioluminescent phytoplankton under our kayaks and comb jellies when we paddled. They were beautiful.

Harrison was great - I was traveling solo and it ended up just being just Harrison and I. Harrison was great! Communication prior was fantastic, I knew where to park and meet up. I only wish they told me I was the only one on that tour so I could have decided to go with the prior group. Had it not been for the prior group giving me the ok that Harrison was safe and trustworthy I would have cancelled as I am a solo female for safety reasons. The comb Jelly Fish were very cool, that was the only bioluminescence available during this time of year. That was cool, you got Tom hold them. Bring bug spray though! I got at least 100 bites THROUGH my leggings and my water shoes.

A must see! - It was an amazing experience to see BOTH the bioluminescent plankton and the comb jellies. Our guide, Chaz, was very knowledgeable and led a fun and safe tour. I would recommend anyone in the area to book one of these breathtaking tours.

Gliding Over a Sea of Stars on the Indian River Lagoon - We had a magical evening on the Indian River Lagoon. Harrison, Amber, and Matt were terrific tour guides. We felt incredibly fortunate to have chosen a night during which the bioluminescence was especially spectacular. Harrison was extremely knowledgeable about the biodiversity in the area and we felt that we were in very safe and capable hands as we navigated through the beautiful waterways. We highly recommend this experience!!

A fantastic experience! - My husband and I were skeptical about how visible the bioluminescence would be but we were both blown away! It was like seeing thousands of fireflies in the water. Chaz and Zach were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. I highly recommend to anyone that enjoys adventure.

Highlight of our Florida Trip - Beautiful! We got an amazing view of Space X rocket launch. Chaz was super knowledgeable and funny. Made the tour safe and accessible regardless of past kayaking experience.

Go in mid-summer - We went during cooler weather (October) and a full moon, so the bioluminescence is not as colorful or active or easy to see. But Chaz shared his love for bioluminescence with us and did his best to make it a magical experience, collecting comb jellies for us to hold in our own hands. A lovely, memorable experience. But I think to see bioluminescence as its peak, June/July/August might be better.

Amazing Kayak Experience. - My husband and I did this tour when we were in New Smyrna Beach in October for a wedding. We booked it the day before our tour and ended up being the only 2 on our 9:30 pm tour. Our tour guide was Chaz and he was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the bioluminescence and made sure that we felt safe and comfortable while kayaking. They skies were clear so we were able to see a bit of the milky way and some shooting stars. It was also really cool to get to see part of the space center from the water. My favorite part was that you could see the bioluminescence under the clear kayak as you were moving through the water. We had an amazing time and have recommended it to many of our family and friends that live in the area. This is definitely an experience that I would do again. When you get to the meeting location it was a bit hard to find where to check in because it was dark, but we were able to ask someone where to go and they pointed us in the right direction.
