“Libearty” Bear Sanctuary isn’t your traditional zoo! The sanctuary’s purpose is to rescue animals living under adverse conditions, by providing them the care they need, decent living standards, and a naturalistic habitat spread over 69 hectares of woodland, streams, and ponds.
“Libearty” Sanctuary doesn’t operate on any public funds! Rather, it’s managed and constructed by the Millions of Friends Association, an independent organization.
