Highlights
  • The Hotel Boulderado, a landmark located at the junction of 13th and Spruce St. in the heart of Boulder, Colorado, welcomed its first guests on the first day of 1909. Its original 1908 Otis Elevator is a testament to its long history and is still functional. Named by combining the words ‘Boulder’ and ‘Colorado’, the hotel ensures its guests cannot forget their stay. It enjoys a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.
  • Located in central Boulder is a vibrant hub of shopping, dining, and cultural activities - the Pearl Street Mall.
  • The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, provided as a gesture of friendship and cultural unity by our sister city, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, lies at Boulder Creek’s base, right at the Flatirons’ foot, in Boulder, Colorado.
  • Experience the best-paved bike path in the country as you cycle along Boulder Creek, surrounded by nature.
  • Enjoy a breathtaking drive through the scenic University of Colorado campus.
  • Visit the picturesque outdoor football stadium on the University of Colorado campus, the home ground for the Colorado Buffaloes.
  • Explore Chautauqua Park, part of a historic monument that reflects Boulder City’s love for nature preservation over the past century. It’s Boulder’s most cherished and stunning park.
  • The Flatirons, an array of rock structures in Boulder, Colorado’s western United States, are imposing. The term ‘The Flatirons’ typically refers to the five massive flatirons lining the east slope of Green Mountain. Numerous other named Flatirons dot Green Mountain’s southern part, Bear Peak, and the neighboring hills.

Great thing to do! - Fantastic bike ride! Great overview of Boulder. Good thing to do if you have never been. Recommend doing first so you have a perspective of the town. You will get brief histories on a few places and lots of scenic views and photo ops. Colin, our tour guide, was great! His bikes are well maintained and he is concerned with instruction & safety. Makes for a fun event—you will start promptly and be on your way to recommended lunch spots in less than two hours.

Great experience - Did the tour a couple days into our Boulder trip so we already saw some of the spots the tour would take us, no problem as our guide changed gears to the plan so we didn't have overlap on our tour. We were the only group in the tour - family of 4. Bikes were cool and made the ride effortless, or you can pedal manually for a workout.

Wonderful experience - We had a great ride! My sister was afraid to get back on a bike after an orthopedic injury. Nthe patience and kindness of the tour leader had her saying that she was able to bike again. Tour was beautiful and gave us an appreciation of the great bike trails in Boulder!

Great way to see the city - Great way to get around Boulder and see some iconic spots. It would have been nice to have a heads up that the game was that day and the city was packed with people. That made it a little challenging but all in all it was a good, informative tour.

Too much talking not enough riding - Bikes are nice and comfortable. The guides were friendly. Personally I was hoping to ride more. The guide stopped every 5-10 minutes to tell us a story. Some were interesting most unnecessary. Most of our group of 6 were bored and on their phones while guide was talking. The tea room was most interesting and stop at the park. No need to stop at the aquarium or restaurant to learn them at Redford worked there and Obama had a shake spill on him. The scenic routes were nice. Could have completed the tour in 2 hours without the stops or ideally a 3 hour ride with limited stops. Maybe another option to consider fir those that desire more ride time.
