Really cool experience outside of the Las Vegas excess - My group of three had a wonderful time on our Lake Mead sunset paddle with Ray. We were worried about the heat but Ray planned so well, bringing water guns so we could spray each other as well as hydration packs, tons of water and even Capri Suns. We’re novice kayakers but he always made us feel safe and was very patient. Once we got to the small island, the weather was significantly cooler so we had no concerns about the heat. Ray brought sandwiches and snacks and set up the fire so we could roast s’mores. He gave us tons of great info about the area, pointing out geological and man-made features. The best part was I was worried about paddling and capturing photos of our group so Ray took tons of pics for us and at the end, just airdropped them. He really went all out to make sure we had a great time.

10/10 recommend! - This was our second experience with Evolution Expeditions and it did NOT disappoint. Chris was a fantastic, fun and knowledgeable guide, and there really is no way to explain the joy experienced from lighting up the kayaks and paddling under the stars.

Sunset kayaking - For my first time kayaking it was a great experience. Ryan was the best tour guide to have for a beginner, he never tired to rush people to get near him, he let everyone go at the pace they felt comfortable and he was around a great guy to meet and I would definitely come back and do it again

Sunset Kayaking - We did the sunset kayaking tour with our 15 yr old son and 7 yr old daughter. They were both very entertained considering their age difference. It was beautiful & adventurous. The kids loved the bonfire and s'more's. The weather started out beautiful but out of nowhere it got windy. Our 7 yr old who has never been kayaking before so got scared on the way back bc the wind was making the kayak move more. Ryan was excellent! He managed the situation very well! At one point he tied our kayak to his and pulled us to shore to make her feel more secure.

Scenic Sunset - We had SUCH an amazing time. Our tour guide, Chris, was so patient (it was our 1st time) and very knowledgeable. He made sure we were safe and had an amazing time. The views were unreal!! It was like sitting in a painting. The lunch provided exceeded my expectations, SO yummy! I'm so glad we chose the sunset tour because kayaking back was serene and peaceful. It was the perfect way to decompress after the excitement of the LV Strip. 10/10 recommend and we cannot wait to come back and try the Emerald Cove experience next!

Amazing experience! - My friend and I wanted to do something different and off the strip during our Las Vegas trip. We're so glad we decided to do the sunset kayak tour. It was such a fun and amazing experience. Our guide, Chris, was fun, patient, and hospitable. He even took some great pictures of us! I would highly recommend booking a kayaking tour with Evolution Expeditions.

Unforgettable Experience of a Lifetime! - My daughter and her husband planned this adventure for my 60th birthday. It's something I never imagined doing especially since I'm deathly afraid of open water and had never been in a kayak. My husband, our three children and their families all went along with my brother and his wife. Driving directions were a little challenging, but we arrived to meet up with our guide, Aaron. We loaded into his van followed by the kayaks and drove down to the shore of Lake Mead. After Aaron got all the kayak's ready to launch and provided us safety instructions, we put in with his help of course. He was so kind, quite funny, extremely calm, knowledgeable, efficient and somewhat matter of fact. This put me and the rest of the family at ease. Rowing to the inlet where we had dinner was a little challenging because the water was busy. We were instructed to follow each other which helped a great deal. Once docked at the inlet, Aaron got a fire started and gave us our boxed dinners from the local deli. He gathered all the trash while we did smores. We then headed back to our kayak's that Aaron had lit up so we could see. It was beautiful. Thank goodness because as we loaded and headed out it became quite dark. About halfway back it was dark lit only by the stars, lights from the boats and the shore. Stunning for sure. It was a little disorienting, but we followed each others voices and made it safely back to shore. Although he didn't ask for it, we helped Aaron unload the kayak's from the water. All loaded in his van and kayaks following behind, he drove us back to our cars and said goodbye. It was a wonderful experience, one I will forever cherish. Thank you, Aaron! It was an unforgettable 60th birthday!
