A must! - If you are short on time this is the best safari you can get for a day! The land and water combination give you a well rounded view. Unbelievable experience!

Chobe jeep and boat tour - Simon was our driver to and from Botswana. He was great- very friendly and knowledgeable. Cobra was our jeep driver in the park. He was also very knowledgeable and we were able to see many elephants, impalas, and giraffes-no cats although he looked for tracks. July was our boat driver and we saw hippos in and out of the water along with water buffalo, crocodiles and birds. Water was provided on jeep and boat. Buffet lunch at hotel was okay- need to purchase own beverages.

Well worth the trip - After traversing the borders and visa process (gotta love old school bureaucracy- paper forms…so many paper forms!) we were off to the river to meet our guide. Both the land and river based ‘drives’ were fantastic. So many elephants - just incredible, and seeing them swim to the island was just amazing! We saw almost everything (elephants, kudu, Impala, water buck, giraffes, zebra, lions, hippos, water buffalo, and so many birds…with the elusive leopard not braving us with his or her presence. Much more compact experience than Kruger and you’re not battling many other cars/jeeps for the best look either. The guides, we had 5 all up, were informative, patient and well versed in meeting the tourists needs. Watching an enormous herd of water buffalo crossing the road on the way back to Vic Falls was a highlight.

A highlight of our Africa trip - This tour was so much more spectacular than I could have imagined. The river trip provided close-up views of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, and Cape buffalo, and some incredible birds. The land portion provided even more views of elephants. Both Simon, our driver to Botswana, and our boat and land safari guides were knowledgeble and personable. I am so glad we took this tour.

A great day in Botswana - I was picked up from my hotel in Victoria Falls and driven 45 minutes or thereabouts to the Zimbabwe/Botswana border. I was met by the wonderful Cobra and the rest of my group and taken through the border control and into Botswana. We were taken to the river for the first part of our trip. July was our guide and he brought us around on the boat. We saw a huge amount of animals, Hippos, Crocodiles, Impala and loads more. July made sure we got plenty of photos and answered all our questions. We weren't rushed at any stage. After a lovely lunch Cobra returned for the game drive. We made the short drive to the National Park and within minutes we saw Zebras, Elephants and Giraffes. We also saw Lions and a Leopard and many more animals. We even saw Lions feeding on an Elephant. After the drive we were returned to the border and I was taken back to my hotel. It was a brilliant trip, I loved every minute of it. One of the highlights of my holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Book it!!!!!

GIFT excellent guide!!! - Super recommended! We did 6 safaris but this one in combination with the boat trip in the afternoon was definitely the best, they picked us up at the Cresta hotel very punctually and very friendly staff, they dropped us off at the border and the guide Gift helped us a lot to get out of the area quickly. border took us to Chobe Park, he looked for many different species and was patient so that we could enjoy our time with each of them, breakfast in the middle of the river was an excellent experience, Gift was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about each of the animals that He showed us! Lunch was very good! And the unforgettable boat ride! We saw hippos swimming as well as elephants crossing the river. Definitely an experience to remember for a lifetime! Thanks Gift! Beautiful nature and animals. Very satisfied, a bit too long safari by boat. - We were very satisfied with the safari, got to see many of the animals we wanted to see. The guides were skilled, and we felt well taken care of. However, we thought there was a bit too much time spent on the boat during the safari.

Things you need to know - you get picked up and first thing you have to do is pay $40.00 ($20.00) per person suppose to be for park fees but never saw the drive give any money to Safari Guide. Between drive to Botswana closing the border doing all the paperwork to exit Zimbabwe enter Botswana. We were picked up at 7:30 AM and did not actually get out on a game drive until 10:30 AM. The safari driver was okay - not great. We did not even have cold drinks as in water/sodas etc they were all warm. Coming back with all the formalities was the same and very time consuming. VERY IMPORTANT if you are flying into Victoria Falls make sure you get a multiple entry $45.00 (A single entry is $30.00) the problem is when you come back from tour if you do not have a second entry it is another $60.00 for two people. This applys to any tours or game drives you do the are out side of Zimbabwe. ALSO be aware do not fly into Victoria Falls and have a hotel in Livingstone. Trying to get transportation from VF airport to Livingstone is impossible not to mention extremely expensive and then you are going to end up paying for another visa into Zimbabwe as the best spots to view the falls is from the Zimbabwe side. The helecopter ride over the falls is okay but due to all the mist you can not really see the full falls. Even on the groud very difficult not to mention plan on getting very wet even if you stay on the path above the falls from all the mist.
