Magnifico! - So enjoyed Paula’s intimate knowledge of the North end’s history and true Italian food choices. We learned a little about so many things. The food choices were varied and very delicious. Can’t stop talking about it, would highly recommend!!

Must Do While in Boston - Paula’s tour was the highlight of our trip to Boston. Her passion for her neighborhood’s history, food, and culture makes for a top-notch experience. This was our first ever food tour and I’m afraid that Paula has set the bar so high that any other tours we take will be disappointing.

Super food and history tour. - Paula does a great job of both providing in depth history of Little Italy as we as personalizing the tour. It was fascinating hearing about the changes over the past 200 years and walking the streets where it all happened. The food choices were great and we were completely stuffed by the end of the tour. Highly recommended!

This is a MUST-DO in Boston! - Wow, this exceeded any and all expectations that I had! Paula was just fantastic! I planned this as a company outing, and everyone absolutely loved it. Paula had so much knowledge not only on the history of the neighborhood but the history of food and wine. It was the perfect balance of walking the area, learning, and visiting various local establishments. It also progresses perfectly with having a full multi-course meal throughout the visits. This is a MUST-DO if you are visiting Boston or planning any sort of outing in the city.

Food and History - all in a fun package! - Paula, of Off the Beaten Path Tours, packed a lot into her three hour tour. Historical tidbits and neighborhood culture and lore, delivered in Paula’s engaging style, made for a fabulous day for our family group! Then there’s the food!! Many stops for olive oil, cheese, pastries , pizza, pasta, wine, and more! We highly recommend this tour! Brava!

Best food tour! - Best North End food tour we’ve done! Paula is immersed in the community so she knows where to go! She was knowledgeable not only of the area and history but also about the food, wine, olive oils, pastries, etc. Go hungry because you will eat on this tour! More than just samples. I would definitely do this tour again. So much fun… even in the rain!

A great family event! - This was an amazing tour! Paula, the tour guide, weaves North End history into the tour which makes it even more special. As for the food, bakeries, cafes and restaurants chosen, they are off the beaten path and spectacular. I live local to Boston and hope to make it back to many of the places visited, and hopefully for another tour soon! We took the tour as a family with our two teenage boys.
