Fantastic couple of hours - A huge thank you to Jack today for the wonderful tour. We were originally due to have the tour yesterday, but due to torrential rain it was cancelled so we re scheduled for today. Our little family had Jack all to ourselves which was lovely and personal. Jack is funny and knowledgeable and we learnt a lot of very interesting facts about Boston. Not to mention the delicious donuts we got to eat along the way. Highly recommend this tour to explore this wonderful city

Donuts, history, and a pleasant walk. - Our tour guide, Jack (a self-proclaimed Southie), arrived promptly at the scheduled time and quickly began regaling our group with facts about Kane's Donuts - the start of our 2ish mile trek through Boston donut and general history. He included some humorous parts to put everyone at ease with a laugh. This was just a taste of what he would deliver throughout. We tried our first Kane's donut and set off to the next stop, where we tried another... stop, eat, drink delicious Kane's coffee (0.99 all day Wednesday, btw), repeat. Through several stops Jack expertly delivered bite-sized pieces of history about what we are seeing and why it was/is significant to Boston's history. Eventually we arrived at Red Apple Farm @ Boston Market and enjoyed 2 varieties there along with their apple cider, which is used to make some of the donuts. All the while, Jack continued diligently informing and entertaining us. Our last stop was Bova's Bakery in North End, where we enjoyed a signature Boston Cream Pie donut. All in all we tried 7 donut varieties from 3 shops and walked a bit over 2 miles, an excellent way to burn off some donut calories. We were thoroughly entertained and left the tour knowing much more than expected. Thanks, Jack, for a great tour!

Do not recommend - This experience was not worth it at all. This was incredibly overpriced considering we didn’t get any full sized donuts. It didn’t feel like a donut tour considering the first four donuts all came from the same place and we walked out in the rain and stopped at random places to try them. I was not a fan of our tour guide. It was raining (and I understand that was not his fault) but he told us he would keep us out of the rain as much as possible but it felt exactly the opposite. We spent a lot of time standing out in the rain getting history lessons. At one point he dragged us out into the rain just to make some distasteful joke. At the end it felt like he was awkwardly begging us for tips. The donut tour in Nashville was WAY better than this one.
