Papa Jim's Pizza? Wait, that doesn't sound right-?! - We were still on California time and very late to jump on the bus in one of the outside loops! The driver radio'd in to hold the bus if necessary and someone was at Stop 1 waiting and directing us upon arrival! The drivers showed great service and care! Papa Jim's tour was awesome! I loved his Cliff Clavin facts and how he went out his way to meet all the riders needs and wants! I would definitely recommend this tour! I don't know how these drivers do it all! Attend to traffic in the city, small streets, facts and information, and be funny on top of it all! Pretty amazing actually! Very few could likely do this job and do this job well for long- and the way Papa Jim did, with such Zest and genuine heart! Thank you!

A must do in Boston - Excellent introduction to Boston and our second ride, but first for a member of our party. You get to see everything you need to see and can get off at the ones you want to- which is an excellent use of time. We got on at the Cheers Bar and off at Fanueil. Excellent driver in Captain Matty who had us singing along to Boston based music. He also introduced us to Emmets Bar which was excellent and the food, and helping size, was amazing. Recommend to anyone visiting our favorite city in the US

Overall great experience - Great experience overall. However we had to get off our first trolley because the guide mumbled and it was impossible to understand him. Our next two drivers were enthusiastic and great!

the history of Boston, at a reasonable price - We stayed in Boston this past weekend, 10/14 & 10/15. During our stay we putchased the 2 day Hop on Hop off Trolley. It was worth every penny and an excellent value. With so many stops, we experienced 5 different drivers over 2 days. All were knowledgeable and entertaining. Several stand out: Lurch, Forrest and Poe were very informative and humorous at times. "Cubbie" was also informative but rude to several customets who were cold. He needs to back to Charm School. "Townie" was our favorite. Again, informative and also entertaining. He delivered great stories of the City with the authenticity of a real BAHston accent. Love that guy. All in all, a great value

Boston History lesson - This is a wonderful way to see Boston and learn or re-learn some of its history. The driver/tour guide was very informative in his narrative and quite courteous to both passengers and pedestrians

Family Tour - I wish the window coverings were not so cloudy. Would have been nice for a clear view. Our driver, Big Wheel, was excellent and very informative.

The Best Way to Get in The History and Pop Culture of Boston - We did the Old Town Trolley Tour for 2 days. It is worth it. You can hop off and on at any of 18 stops along the route which will get you to almost anywhere yo want to go. Additionally, while on the bus you get great history and commentary on pop culture for the Boston area. The guides are also happy to give you detailed instructions on how to get to specific places on your stops. Only two things kept me from giving this a 5. One is that one day, we waited for over a half hour and never saw the trolley so walked to our first stop; usually you wait a max of 15 minutes. The second is, your experience is definitely dependent on you driver/guide. All are good but some are better than others. Our last driver, Maureen, was amazing! We ended p staying on the bus for an entire 2 hour loop to listen to her. Yea Maureen from Southie!

Good tour and idea, but could use some enhancements. - Good tour and idea, but could use some enhancements. It would be nice if there was an app where you could see where the bus is and how long before it gets to each stop. We spent a lot of our day standing and waiting for the bus to come. Also, let people know the times of tours. We got to the Boston Tea party as our last stop only to find out we missed the last tour which was at 4:00. That would have been nice to know earlier in the day so we could plan accordingly. Tour guides all were great, buses were clean, loved the idea.

Very difficult to understand - We booked the tour with the intention to learn something about the city, but unfortunately we understood very little because the speakers were very quiet and the guide spoke in a very bad Boston English.
