Salem walking tour - The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. It was fast and furious at times. Only thing I didn’t like was how much we would stop walking. I feel that some of the information could have been given all at one time.

Salem at Halloween - It was hectic with hundreds of visitors descending on the Witch City. They had turned their shame to gain! We stopped at a lot of the periodically symbolic sites, but only entered the Real Pirates museum. Our guide, Alex had a lot of historical knowledge and gave a good insight into the witch trials. The walking and stopping was tiring, so we could not actually visit any of the sites.

It was OK… - We were disappointed that the cost of the tour did not include more of the attractions in Salem. We couldn’t get into the main cemetery we couldn’t get into the museum. It did not include a lot of the things that I thought it would. Our tour guide was friendly and funny, but moved very quickly and it was difficult for our younger kids to keep up and hear what he was saying. By the time we got up to the group, he pretty much finished what he was saying. We actually learned more of our information from listening to other tour guides that were nearby.

Not worth paying for. - Well for starters "salem witch tour" if on a Friday or Saturday doesn't mean salem witch tour. It's a pirate museum instead, gotta love the fine print. The lady was nice and all but entertaining not so much, very, come on come on keep it moving and less emersion or experience. The tour itself not worth paying for at all, I could walk past all the things myself and read the placards and probably learn more.

Awful experience - Not a good experience. First arrived at north station could not locate tour guide. Eventually found guide by luck by asking him if he knew where we get guide to Salem tour. When we arrived in Salem we had a rushed tour of Salem showing us a couple of historic buildings with not much information. Some members of tour struggled to keep up with pace and were told they could sit at various times and he would pick them up on way back. After walking tour we were given stickers for museum entry with comment you can get in line now before he disappeared. Not a good end to tour or a good experience.
