Great art. - You should ensure you show up to the van Gogh exhibition on time. Also anticipate that this Boston Fine Arts museum is very big with a lot of nooks and crannies but worth investigating all. Was indeed a great experience.

Skip the line - It was wonderful to skip the line with our prepaid tickets. We loved seeing all the worldly exhibits. It was fascinating.

Top art museum destination in Boston - World class "great cultures" (prehistoric to modern) museum, with a diverse and very high-quality collection. The Egyptian galleries are among the best in the U.S.; the newly re-installed Japanese galleries are superb; the special exhibitions are usually worth a trip by themselves. Add two great cafés and a bookstore and you can happily spend all day here.

Wonderful museum and Van Gogh exhibit - We recently visited on a weekday mid-morning with family to see the Van Gogh exhibit and the rest of the museum. We particularly enjoyed the exhibit, the Monet room, and the Egyptian artifacts. We had a snack at the Taste cafe near the gift shop. I would love to visit again when we have more time.

Excellent to visit, plan to stay a while. - We loved our visit and wish we’d been able to stay much longer. The collection is extensive and the architecture of the building is stunning. Highly recommend. Easy to reach by tram.

Boston was the best - It was great purchasing the museum ticket prior to the visit but I had to pay an additional fee for a special exhibit that was being shown during the time I was there. Viator should state that the price may not include “special exhibits” so people are prepared.

Go to MFABoston - MFA Boston feels like home to me. I am a self-described art junky and this is a place that doesn't disappoint. I only lived in Boston area for a few months, years ago. Still this is home to a wonderful celebration of timeless art. I found myself pondering an amazing series of Monet paintings and the iconic Degas dancer of 14. I lucked out in February weather-wise too as the sun was out and shining on that awesome Indian on a horse at the entrance to the museum. I encountered a group of students sketching Greek sculptures, recalling my own experiences in Cleveland growing up and in college.

Great cultural experience to do in Boston - As a solo female traveler, I very much enjoyed my visit at the MFA. The museum was very tidy, clean and well-furnished with lots of art pieces from all over the world. Personally, my favourite room was the Monet exposition - with some pieces of his I had never seen before. Overall, I really recommend this experience - particularly having a look at the gift shop for a nice souvenir to bring home!

Georgia on My Mind - This museum is amazing. We were especially interested in the O'Keefe exhibit. It was excellent, but the people who were supposed to be in the group before us arrived late. That made for a very crowded experience. Other than that, it was great. The Ancient Egypt exhibit is fabulous.
