North End to Freedom Trail - Larry Vale was a great guide. Very informative. Food experience was great. History very informative. We were a family of four. Two parents and twenty plus children. He appealed to us all. He spent time getting to know us all.

Incredible Tour - Bob, an exceptional tour guide, highlighted hidden gems that locals often overlook and led us to off-the-beaten-path spots. His extensive knowledge of history added to the experience. Definitely a must-repeat activity.

Great history / food tour! - This history / food tour was great! Don't eat breakfast before you go so that you can truly enjoy the terrific treats from local eateries. Larry was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this tour to my friends!

Come all you hungry and thirsty for knowledge! - Great experience! You start out with a tour of the North End and stop at various eateries along the way. Today we got: a sfogliatella from a bakery, a cappuccino and cannoli from a cafe, a sandwich from an Italian deli, and a slice of pizza. All were delicious! Our tour guide, Larry, was super knowledgeable and friendly. 5 hours may seem long for a tour but the time flew by! After the food portion of the tour, we took a break and then continued with the freedom trail history portion and stopped for a half pint of beer. I’d highly recommend this tour for people looking to learn more about Boston’s past and present from a local. Larry even gave us personal restaurant recommendations!

Food, fun and history - The tour was an absolute pleasure. Despite the anticipated length of 5 hrs, which seemed like a very long commitment, in the end we slightly exceeded it and could have probably gone on for a little longer. Our tour guide, Alex was engaging, humorous and very knowledgeable. The places we ate at along the North End portion of the tour were fabulous and very filling. I don't think we could have eaten another bite. Once we had out fill, we toured through some of Boston's most well-known historical sights. Alex made them come alive with stories in great detail, and a focus of how ironic history can be (take the tour with Alex and you'll understand). The little break just before we finished, at the pub, gave us a second wind and a chance to solidify some friendships made during the course of the day with our fellow explorers. I highly recommend this tour and make sure to request Alex, as he was the glue that made it all come together and made it a very memorable experience
