Great tour. Great guide! - Mark is an excellent tour host. You felt like you were being given a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the stories of the Revolution. His nuanced stories made the events more alive for us. Highly recommend!

Wow what a tour! I feel... - Wow what a tour! I feel like we saw everything. The tour guide is amazing. He knows literally everything about Boston and the freedom trail. He doesn’t take tips and he provided a few bottles of water out of the goodness of his heart. Some of us dropped off like flies in the heat and the extensive walk but I’m so glad we did it.

Learned more about the Revolutionary War in 4 hours than semesters of history in a “boring” classroom! - Mark was a treasure trove of Revolutionary War era history. He brought many of the individuals of that era to life with his articulate and knowledgeable descriptions and antidotes of their persona. Highly recommend this tour for anyone that really want to understand what really happened during that period of US history!

Excellent Freedom Trail Tour of Historic Boston! - If you have time, this is definitely the Freedom Trail experience you should have! Our guide, Mark, was amazing and informative. He was also patient, and thankfully had water and extra sunscreen on hand to help us with the heat and sun. While we saw other tour guides point to landmarks and continue walking with their groups, Mark spent time describing what we were seeing, and also allowed time for pictures and for us to catch up if needed. It was also a relief that he did not request gratuity at the end, as hopefully this is lumped into the cost. Great group, great tour, great guide for our historical tour of beautiful Boston! 100% recommend! Worth your time and $. Thanks so much, Mark!

Perfect Freedom Trail Walking Tour. - I wanted a Freedom Trail Tour that was not kitchsy and didn't have people in costumes, exagerating the history. Mark was the man for the job. He knows what he is talking about and goes beyond just taking you to each site. He shares detailed history of more than just the site but how each location is related to the rich history of Boston and the Revolution. Don't let the 4 hours scare you, it felt more like 2. Mark also has spots planned out that provide sitting breaks throughout the tour.

Hot & tired - The weather was very hot & the tour is 4 hours long. We were lagging after the first 3 hours & Mark asked us to take a cab for a speedier passage over the bridge. We opted to leave the tour and stopped for a cold beer & lunch.
