Fantastic way to get to know the city and its heritage - We booked this walking tour on our second day in Boston, and am so glad we did. Travelling from Ireland, we were aware of the connections to Boston, but never really appreciated the deep history and importance of Boston. Our tour guide - Bob - was amazing. He is a true font of knowledge on everything from the background to the American revolution, its key players like Samual Adams and Paul Revere, the City as a centre of trade and commerce, and how it became a home for so many immigrants who transformed the City’s commerce, culture and politics. Best of all we learned all of this while strolling around the best parts of Boston and enjoying the most amazing food. Bob delivered with humour and fun. He was engaging and helpful, and has so much passion and deep historic knowledge which came across at every opportunity. The food aspects were incredible. We spent much of the time in the North End, - little Italy - and were introduced to several amazing multi generational family food businesses that we would never have found otherwise - bakeries, coffee shops and delis - with lots of wonderful food to sample. It was a fantastic tour. Genuinely, it completely enriched my knowledge and perspective on the City and was enjoyable from start to finish. There are lots of tours of the city - bus tours. Duck tours, ghoul tours, walking tours etc and some look a bit gimmicky with tour guides dressed is period costumes. If that’s your thing then fine, but you will miss on a tour like this one which so authentic, educational, fun and engaging. Travelling around the city with a guide with such knowledge and history as a guide like Bob, turned out to be a great privilege. I highly recommend this trip. I doubt you could find a better way to four or five hours in this most fascinating city,

Great Boston food and history tour! - Great tour, both history-wise and food-wise! Don’t eat breakfast before going on this tour. Early in the tour, we stopped for fresh baked Parmesan bread, then stopped for a cappuccino and cannoli, and then for a big slice of pizza. Most of the tour group peeled off at that point, having just signed up for the food part of the tour. That left 3 of us with our tour guide Tim, who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Boston’s history (which is really the heart of U.S. history. Tim led a great tour, both food-wise and history-wise.

Fun, funny, food and friends. - What a fantastic tour! Nabil was so friendly, warm, well informed and funny. We learned about not only the history of Boston but where to get the best bread, sandwiches, pizza, cappuccino and cannoli. (And a few more) We learned about myths started by Paul Revere, who was a PR master and H.W. Longfellow who was more interested in rhyming than accuracy! We saw 8 of the top 10 sights in Boston and eased our tour in the Beacon Hill neighborhood (which really has a beacon!) We were also honored to be accompanied by Elizabeth, who has personal experience with the outdoor spaces and was able to give us a history of the green belt and brutalist architecture. All in all an all encompassing tour with lots of information presented in a most enjoyable way. DON’T MISS THIS ONE!!

Simply EXCELLENT......worth every penny - We booked this trip as a way to learn more about the history and geography of Boston whilst also being able to sample some local food. Our guide was Tim and he was brilliant. His knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to explain and elaborate was absolutely perfect for us. He led us through much of the history and we could link this in to our own European history and all the events that led through to US independence. The trip is a good long walk with plenty of stops and the food ones were great. Was saw and tried many things that we would never have done without the guide. First class all around...worth every penny. Thank you again Tim!
