- Old State House - Built in 1713, the Old State House was originally called the Town House and was where the Royal governor, his council, and House of Representatives worked. At this stop, visitors learn about some of America’s earliest ideas of liberty, like voting, petitioning, and transparency of the government. They also learn how this building, through the government and decisions made inside, helped spark the revolution.

The Beyond the Revolution constitutes the sole ambulatory guide in Boston that provides access to TWO historical locations along the Freedom Trail!
Boston’s significance in the American Revolution is well-known, but history of Boston extends far beyond that. The Beyond the Revolution Tour delves into the city’s most pivotal occurrences, encapsulating all eras from its inception to the contemporary times.

The Beyond the Revolution trace covers an estimated one-mile distance, spans about 75 minutes, and is limited to 20 participants. The excursion includes the exploration of the historical narratives of the following sites:
Old State House, Faneuil Hall, City Hall Plaza, John Adams Courthouse, Massachusetts State House, Site of the Manufactory House, Old Corner Bookstore, Old South Meeting House, among others!
