- Le Bar [_ Vin - Want to upgrade your wine tasting knowledge? With this wine masterclass, you’ll learn everything there is to know about Bordeaux and more. In the heart of Bordeaux’s old town center, this wine tasting workshop will teach you not only the fundamentals of wine, but also the history of the vineyards, their unique characteristics, and main grape varieties. Throughout this masterclass workshop, you will also learn the correct and sophisticated approach to tasting, how to serve wine to your guests and how to pair Bordeaux wine with food.
The masterclass will be taught by a local wine professional with sommelier and/or vineyard experience.
After an introduction to the vineyards of Bordeaux, you will taste four different wines from various appellations, each with their own distinguished style and character. You will learn the specificities of each region in terms of soil, climate and grape varieties and learn how to recognize their unique taste. The wines will be paired with delicious chocolates and some local cheeses!

Located in the historic centre of Bordeaux, this wine tasting workshop imparts not just the basics of wine, but also the history of the vineyards, their distinctive traits, and predominant grape varieties. The workshop also provides guidance on the proper and classy way to taste wine, how to serve it to your guests, and how to match Bordeaux wine with food.

- Each attendee receives 4 glasses of wine (8 cl), along with a cheese board, bread and chocolates to share.
- A map and wine tasting sheet are provided for your convenience!
- The minimum number of people for each tour is 2. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum is not reached and proceed to a full refund.

Wonderful wine tasting experience - Wonderful wine tasting experience. The venue was perfect. The wines were delicious. I learned lots about the wine making regions around Bordeaux and our sommelier, Jon was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bordeaux

Great day out - Awesome wine bar tour in the center of town. We were a mixed group of English and French speakers and John was great at switching between the two languages to include everyone. Good fun, good food and good wines, highly recommend !

Fantastic wine tour! - We went on a private tour, with Jonathan, who was charming and knowledgable. We were taken to a couple of great estates, and to a couple of wine shops in town. The entire half-day tour was spot-on: no hard-sell, judicious, entertaining and engaging. Can’t speak highly enough about this as a great day out as a couple or in a larger group.
