Compare local wines with those from across the world at a Grand Cru winery, and enjoy an additional glass of wine served with a typical French aperitif! You will receive personalized attention from your local guide on this small-group tour, limited to eight people.
- Kids from 12 years old. Minimum drinking age is 18 years
- The minimum number of people for each tour is 2. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum is not reached and proceed to a full refund.
- Saint Emilion is a quaint, charming little village. This tour includes a 1h guided tour of the town, including some free time for you to roam around as long as the tour leaves Bordeaux on time. Also, you will not be able to fully explore the whole village, as we have strict appointments at each chateau. If you wish to stay longer in the village, you can organize another day trip yourself, as there’s a train station not far from the town center. For any further information about this, please feel free to contact us.
- Unfortunately Saint Emilion village is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us for alternatives.
- We are not providing bottles of water, please bring your own. (water refill available at each winery)

Fantastic day out! - Our guide Alex was absolutely brilliant! Fun and informative, such a great day!! Perfect length of time to see 2 vineyards and be back in time for dinner :)

Fantastic tour, highly recommend! - Great experience. Our tour guide Alex was an absolute delight. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality which made the experience even more enjoyable. The wineries we went to (Chateau Grangey and Chateau Cadet Bon) were great and the overall experience was enjoyable. The tour was smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend!

Incredible - Communication was excellent, pick up easy and organisation.
The van was comfy, the driver was fun, knowledgeable, informative and a genuinely nice guy!
The 2 wineries were beautiful, the location, the wines were lovely. The location and the knowledge of the people were excellent.
The walk around Saint-Émilion was gorgeous, the local wine bar we visited was lovely in the free time we had.
The food from the tour guide at the 2nd winery was gorgeously presented, tasted incredible and paired excellently with the wine.
The best wine tour I've been on, Thank you so much François!

Informative, personal and culinary! - Excellent tour, lots of background knowledge from Gilbert, who himself lives in St. Emilion. We visited two completely different wine guardians in cultivation , fermentation process and the resulting flavors,

Best wine tour in Bordeaux! - Gilbert was the best guide we could have asked for! Very friendly, very informative, and great fun! All of the stops we made were excellent, the wine at both vineyards was delicious, and our time in Saint Emilion was lovely. I would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic family day - Absolutely best day with Gilbert from Bordeaux Wine Trails. They tailored the day to accommodate our two kids, ages 7 & 10. We were all engaged and learned a lot! They kids enjoyed the treats and interactive experiences throughout and we appreciated visiting smaller chateaux and having more intimate tasting experiences. A day we’ll never forget, thanks to Gilbert!
