grands vins de Bordeaux. The vaulted cellars built in 1720 depict the work of the coopers and the traditional wine aging practices of traders in the nineteenth century. The cellars also illustrate the Bordeaux wine trade with a number of collections that take you beyond the two seas. Various artifacts and archival documents trace the exceptional careers of the great merchant families as well as the ancestral knowledge of workers in the cellars.

Unmissable Bordeaux place - The Wine and Trade Museum is a real gem for wine lovers and history buffs in Bordeaux. This museum is full of valuable information on the history of Bordeaux and its wines, offering a captivating immersion in the region's wine heritage. The wealth of exhibitions and documents presented allows us to better understand the evolution of the wine trade over the centuries. What really sets this experience apart is the argumentative tasting offered at the end of the tour. It’s much more than just a tasting; it is a real sensory lesson which allows you to deepen your knowledge of the different grape varieties, terroirs and winemaking techniques. Each wine tasted is accompanied by detailed explanations which enrich the experience and shed new light on what we are tasting. In short, the Musée du Vin et du Négoce is a must-see for anyone wanting to explore the fascinating history of Bordeaux and its wines, while enjoying a memorable and informative tasting experience.

Intimate and exciting experience! - Small, intimate visit to an old wine cellar with tasting of 2 wines, very affordable! Noah and Simon gave very interesting information in the tasting section and Lucas recommended an excellent bottle, according to my tastes! I recommend, 10/10 service from the boys!

Wine Museum, Bordeaux - It is small but with history. The staff is very attentive and willing to communicate. The girl who did the tasting for us made an effort to be able to explain it in Spanish. We had a small incident at the tasting that they resolved with kindness. Recommended even with minors.

superb museum to do - superb place and superb welcome from the employees, if I would like to make the customer a little picky the only small weak point but it is not worth removing the point it is and it is a shame that we are offered a audio guide goes on the phone with their wifi but I understand that in the cellars there are no networks and arriving in a room with no internet at all and impossible to put on the audio which explains things. I'll give you an idea to improve it, I would put small posters next to the numbers, so if we can no longer listen or access the documents we can still read the poster. otherwise during the tasting I discovered lots of things which completed my visit. I would come back with pleasure and with my family.

A pleasure - The museum is very interesting, detailed explanations and an excellent tasting by Pilar, who answered all our questions. It's a pleasure to have people who spread wine and are passionate about their work.

You have to really like wine to go… - Children get a little bored on these types of visits. You have to go with time to be able to visit it. They tell you that at the end there is a wine tasting included and the tasting is that they give you a wine (which you choose from the 5 or 6 that they select that day)
