2ter Rue Mably - With a local wine expert, enjoy a tasting workshop, between the atmosphere of a wine bar and a course of oenology in the heart of Bordeaux, 2 steps away from the Grand Theatre.
A workshop to acquire in-depth notions such as: terroir, grape varieties, appellation, classification, vinification/winemaking, aging, storage and the art of wine service. No knowledge is required to attend this experience, you will learn while having fun on site!
The tasting will start with a first glass of white wine, allowing you to learn the key steps of the tasting with a universal method.
The tasting will continue with 3 glasses of regional single grape variety red wines to understand their characteristics and the interest of blending, a common practice in the region.
Finally, you will taste 2 fine wines, one from the left bank, the second from the right bank, one of which is a Bordeaux grand cru.
Wines will be paired with fine local charcuterie and cheeses to enhance your immersion in the local culture, while learning some basic knowledge about food and wine pairing.

Great Experience - This was a great experience, Vincent did a great job taking us through the history of wines in the region. The wine education was excellent, we had some sensory testing as part of the tasting as well as how to taste wines both visually and through taste. Along with some charcuterie and bread. This was well worth the time and cost.

Wonderful Intro To Bordeaux’ Wines - Vincent shared excellent insights on the different wine areas and how they contribute to the unique characteristics of the various wines. We loved the charcuterie and generous wine samples. The small group size made for an excellent experience overall.

Great Tasting - Matilda was great. Learned a lot and the wine and food were delicious. Even played a game to see whether we can guess scents like a sommelier.

Well worth the stop in for some Bordeaux wine and history - this was a fun wine tasting - great information about the area and Bordeaux wines especially. Host was knowledgable. There was one person in the group who was rude - but the host handled it well and was good at keeping the wine and tasting informative and fun.

Great introduction to Bordeaux wines - Very enjoyable and informative tasting. Good opportunity to taste a good variety of wines and explained very clearly. Any questions which we had were answered well. Good variety of food to try with the wines as well.
