In the company of a wine expert, this offering comprises an overview of Bordeaux’s wine country, its heritage and customs; a beginner’s guide to wine tasting methods; a description of the varied classifications present in the region; and a sampling of four mature, high-quality Bordeaux wines, aged by us and paired with a meal featuring local cured meats and cheeses.
You’ll have the chance to savor wines from pre-2010 vintages, showcasing both parts of Bordeaux. We’ll venture as far back as the 1990s, 1980s, and occasionally the 1970s. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Grand Cru Classé wines from past vintages, guided by a wine connoisseur.

An interesting study of older vintage wines - A very enjoyable and informative hour where we tasted 4 wines of varying ages and levels.
Our host was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Two of the wines were around 30 years old and two about 15.
We were also provided with cheese and charcuterie.
A very interesting exercise and heartily recommended.

So much more than just tasting. - I unfortunately do not remember the name of the woman that guided us through our tasting but she was great. We got a ton of useful information that we did not know before we went. We also found wines that we really enjoyed and were able to purchase them and several others.

You should try too! - It was great to taste vintage wines and learn about Bordeaux wines in such a short time! The host was a really nice guy who is passionate about Bordeaux wines!
