Awesome day with Maud - AWESOME DAY WITH MAUD We’ve been on a number of wine tours but our full day wine tour with Maud definitely heads the list as the most enjoyable, informative and fun tour we have ever experienced. She has a warm way with people that had eight strangers, by the end of the day, feeling a special bond that was inclusive and comfortable. It is a unique trait to make a group feel like friends/family by the end of the day, feeling sad the day was over. The chateaus, the attention to detail during the day, the gourmet picnic lunch and the time in St. Emilion made for an unforgettable memory which we will share with everyone we know. Maud is a remarkable woman. So glad we booked this tour.

Amazing Experience - An amazing experience, the highlight of our trip to Bordeaux. Tour group was small and in a well air conditioned mini van. Lunch was a stand out consisting of local French produce and allowing you to get to know others on your trip. Our tour guide John - a trained sommelier - was friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, funny and made us feel so comfortable. Visited three superb winery's, getting the opportunity to try a minimum of 3 wines at each in different stunning locations. Would highly recommend if you're visiting Bordeaux.

Great Experience! - My husband and I went on a full day wine tour where we visited wineries in Graves and St. Emilion, with a visit to the town of St. Emilion as well. Our guide for the day was Annabelle, and she was excellent! She was so friendly and made everyone feel welcome and involved throughout the tour. She is also extremely knowledgeable about wine, and taught us so much throughout the day. This tour was one of our favorite days on our trip to France. We would highly recommend this tour, especially with our amazing guide Annabelle!

Treat yourself to this excellent day tour - Last week when in Bordeaux, we took this full day trip to St Emilion & some wineries. We were very lucky to have had the pleasure of Maud as our guide and driver for the day. As there were only 4 of us (2 couples) the trip turned out to be more of a private tour. The 3 wineries in our itinerary were quite different from each other which made our day more interesting. Maud’s engaging personality & her excellent knowledge of the region we were travelling made our day more pleasurable. I can highly recommend this tour, in particular, Maud as guide. Our car was also very comfy & roomy and the picnic lunch provided was exceptional- locally made & organic.

Fantastic! - We have just had one amazing tour of wine districts around Bordeaux. First stop was Chateau Carbonnieux ( Grand Cru Classe de Graves). We got to see the production and storage / maturation facilities. This was followed by a tasting of their current white and red vintages. Second stop was Chateau Palais Cardinal (Saint Emilion Grand Cru). As well as getting to taste some excellent wines we had a picnic lunch there. This was followed by a walk through the historic village of Saint Emilion. It was very scenic. Please be aware that there are cobble stones and some short steep sections so wear appropriate foot wear. Along the way we visited a wine shop and a charcuterie. Both provided tastings of their products. We also visited a historic church and saw some very old frescoes. There was nothing too difficult in the walk and it was well worth the effort. The final stop was just outside the village at Chateau Le Chatelet (Grand Cru Classe). Absolutely superb wines accompanied by an informative talk from Virginie. Please note that all tasting was done responsibly in small serves. If you’re looking to get smashed, this is not the tour for you. If you want to see some wonderful country, taste some superb wines, and develop your understanding of the Appellation system you will not be disappointed. Our guide / driver, Maud, was wonderful. I noticed that the staff at the wineries and wine shop all treated her with genuine respect and affection. No doubt because they realise she is very knowledgeable on the subject of the wines, the production processes, culture and history. She certainly contributed to my learning experience on the day. She demonstrated a concern for safety of tour participants, describing the walk through the village so we could all be prepared to complete it safely. There was also an incident near the end of the tour where a bus veered into our lane. Her quick response avoided a collision. Great driving, Maud!

A friendly and informative tour of some wineries in the region - The whole experience was amazing, our guide Maud was friendly and accommodating - she never put pressure on us to hurry up, even when we overran (not her fault either!) I would definitely recommend if you're visiting the city for a few days.

The best day with Bordeaux Wine Trails - We had the best day on our tour with Jon! He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Each winery had something unique to see and taste, and all the wines were fabulous. The town of St Emillion was beautiful, and our picnic lunch was AMAZING! Fresh meat and cheese, soup, salad, quiche. Everything was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. This is the #1 tour if you are in Bordeaux!
