We utilize CLEAR tandem (double-seater) kayaks equipped with multi-color LED illumination systems for this excursion. There’s a delightful 15-minute paddle to the beach and main course, where we aim to spot wildlife. Big Hickory Island is a rich ecosystem for aquatic creatures. We will be on the prowl for coastal birds, dolphins, and manatees (during warmer aqua months). Upon any encounters, your cooperation in maintaining their peaceful environment by not disrupting them is appreciated.
We suggest packing necessities such as a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bottle of water, insect repellant, and aquatic shoes.
Please note, CLEAR kayaks maintain a combined passenger weight limit of 425 pounds for each boat and a maximum weight of 250 pounds per seat. Don’t hesitate to reach out should you need any clarification!
The minimum participant age is 5 years. We have life jackets available in youth sizes.
