Highlights
  • Rancho Del Rio - Spend time with our friends and family on this fully guided rafting adventure on the beautiful and pristine Upper Colorado River. This section of the Colorado River offers scenic views including meadows, valleys, rolling ranch lands and steep canyon walls. This varied landscape is home to all kinds of wildlife, including bald eagles, deer, beaver, and big horn sheep - always something to marvel at.

Upper Colorado River Rafting provides mild Class I-II rapids and occasional Class III rapids at higher water flow! Bring the entire family (5 yrs and up) on this journey. There’s something for everyone.

If big, exciting water is what your group is looking for, then mid-June to early July is traditionally the high-water season. When the river runs at its peak, it can be a big ride. Most groups enjoy normal runs in May, then mid-July through all September.

Additional Information

The Colorado River hosts our go-to family-friendly rafting experience. This stretch of the Colorado River unveils picturesque scenery including fields, basins, undulating ranch landscapes and rugged canyon boundaries, home to wildlife such as bald eagles, deer, beavers, and bighorn sheep—a constant visual delight. The austere Upper Colorado River Rafting features gentle Class I-II rapids, interspersed with the occasional Class III rapids during high water flow periods.

Originating as snowmelt from the lofty heights of the Rocky Mountain National Park, the Rockies are the cradle of the renowned Colorado River. As it flows downstream from the Park, the river gathers force through the infamous Class 5 “Gore Canyon”, but beyond this point, it calms down to start our Colorado River Rafting adventures. Perfect for families with children and the elderly, this rafting trip is a visual treat for any group seeking a picturesque Colorado escapade.

We’re proudly a boutique operation offering personal Colorado experiences. Our raft guides possess top-notch training, ample experience, and carry State certification.

Colorado River trip - It was a great trip down the river, relaxing in many parts, exciting in others. It was a beautiful warm day and the scenery was great. Our tour guide, Connor kept it interesting and has some very fun jokes. We would recommend this tour for those who want a more relaxing ride with a bit of excitement.
