Jardín is settled within the heart of the mountains. Our forebears, through diligence and determination, bridged the gap between this remote location and the capital city. The unsung heroes of this feat were the muleteers. Their hardy mules and strategic pathways facilitated the transportation of coffee from these magnificent mountains. The village’s main square and basilica warrant special mention, as does a guided tour of a coffee plantation.
