Via A. Grazia, 5 - The activity takes place 15 km from the city center of Bologna, in an organic farm, you will prepare the dishes of traditional Bolognese cuisine. We will prepare the traditional dishes by mixing eggs and flour, pulled by hand, seasoned with traditional sauces, prepared by us, once the preparation is finished you will taste what is prepared in the garden or inside our house. You will also prepare a traditional dessert that you will take home; We organize seasonal courses and based on these, we decide together what to prepare and learn during the cooking class.
The activity starts at 2.30 pm, when we will meet in the city center, in via Santo Stefano 14, we will take you to the Bolognese hills 15 km from Bologna, and the activity will end at about 6 pm, after you will taste the dishes prepared until 7.30 pm, time when we will take you back to the city center.

- tagliatelle al ragù - tipical dish of the Bolognese cuisine, pasta made from scratch, generally eaten with the ragù sauce, or tomato sauce or with the mushrooms.
- tortellini - home made pasta filled with meat, normally served with meat broth or with Parmigiano cream
- tortelloni - home made pasta bigger than the tortellini, filled wit ricotta cheese and parsley, or spinaches, or pumpink, or mortadella and ricotta.
- pinza bolognese - typical cake from the hills of Bologna, that you will prepare with three differents jams made from us, cinnamon and raisins
- raviole - typical biscuits from Bologna, filled with jams made from us
- torta della nonna - tipical cake from Bologna, with yellow cream, pine nuts, pastry
- tagliatelle - tipico piatto bolognese, pasta tirata al mattarello servita con il sugo al ragù o passata di pomodoro o funghi e panna
- tortellini - tipico primo bolognese, ripieno di carne, mortadella e noce moscata, serviti con brodo di carne o panna
- tortelloni - più grandi dei tortellini, ripieni di ricotta e prezzemolo, ricotta spinaci, o zucca, o mortadella, serviti con burro fuso e salvia

3 Course Cooking Demonstration - I had chosen instead of dinner to do this course for my birthday as I truly wanted to cook while in Bologna and it was great. I cannot wait to use the recipes we were given to recreate the dishes at home as well as take the basic skills we have learned and apply them to further pasta and cooking skills. The hosts were warm and helpful, even making me a birthday cake which was incredible. Some cooking courses are large group where you walk away proud but not informed on a personal level and this was small enough that we were given individualized help and conversations about cultural differences or our lives. Highly recommend to anyone who wishes to learn to make pasta or traditional bolognese recipes.

Incredible experience - Wow what an incredible experience!!
We felt very welcome and so relaxed , great to share in the fun of learning to make homemade pasta and be hands on , felt like part of the family. We loved the dogs especially as we were missing our own!!!
Can’t recommend highly enough, 10/10!!!
We’ll definitely come again in the future!!!
Make sure you don’t eat beforehand as the portions are extremely generous!!!

One of most memorable experiences in Italy - Highly recommend , we enjoyed everything about this experience. The host and her mother(the chef) were friendly and made you feel like you were invited to a friends house. There were 7 of us and we all participated in making the pasta. We ate dinner with good wine on the balcony at their country home. The view was wonderful.

We cannot say enough about this class! - 100/10 would recommend this to anyone who goes to Bologna. Upon getting picked up, we were driven by Flaminia to their house on the hills. While on the way, we chatted about some Bolognese history and we actually learned quite a bit. Once we got to the house, we were greeted by cold drinks (super appreciated because of the heat) + coffee, and we walked around their garden. Oh, there are also a bunch of cute doggies!
Once the activity began, we were carefully guided throughout the process. My husband typically asks a lot of questions, and all were answered patiently haha. After the whole process, we were offered wine and homemade tea, which we enjoyed with the two pasta dishes we created.
It was a truly a wonderful experience and we would recommend this to anyone considering!

Wonderful cooking experience in a beautiful setting. - What an incredible experience! When I met the car on a corner of Bologna, I had no idea what to expect. We drove about 20 minutes out of the city to a picturesque hillside home. There, we gathered as new friends and made a delicious meal.
We made fresh pasta, rolling our classic tortellini by hand. We also made a traditional cookie filled with homemade jam. The family is a delight, and they have created such a warm and authentic learning space.
I can't recommend this highly enough!

Highlight of trip our trip - We had the most wonderful day! First, The personal property outside the city was beautiful. We were made so welcome! We felt like family friends! The lesson was so interesting and fun. And then the icing on the cake was sharing a meal (that we made) with our new group of friends from around the world! We have spent a month in Italy and this has been one of the highlights of the trip! I highly recommend it!!! Would do it again!! It was an activity the entire family enjoyed! I wish I could have had several DAYS of lessons!!!
