Welcome to Grazia’s kitchen in Bologna, the perfect place for you if you’re looking to delve deep into the local food culture. I provide a cooking class where we will create two varieties of fresh egg pasta, accompanied by two distinct Bolognese sauces. This cooking class will be both interactive and hands-on. Expect to get your hands dirty with egg and flour while I manage the sauces and serving. If you prefer a vegetarian menu, please let me know ahead of time. I also provide more insight into the history of Italian cuisine.
The classes are conducted in both English and Italian, but don’t let a language barrier deter you! We’ll find common ground as we navigate the art of pasta making together.
Please note, I share my home with my dog who is part of my family. If you have allergies or phobias related to dogs, this class may not be the best fit for you.

Thank you Grazia, thank you! - This experience was everything you could ask for and more! Grazia was so welcoming and made us feel right at ease when learning such new skills. I was even with my boyfriend, who does not cook at all, & Grazia was so helpful & kind while he learned! He could cook pasta at home now and I would trust him. Fun—and delicious—experience! - We had a wonderful time making —and eating pasta—with Grazia and our fellow students/new friends from Wales. Grazia made us feel welcome in her home and at ease in our attempt to make pasta. She’s warm, charming and an excellent teacher. This was the first time we have done this type of “travel experience” and we couldn’t have picked a better place to start. There’s nothing better than getting to make and eat authentic pasta bolognese in the home of a Bologna native. Bologna has been an awesome place to visit but this was definitely a high point in our trip. Highly recommend this experience.

The best part of our Bologna experience - Who knew how easy it could be to make homemade pasta! Grazia made the experience one to remember and my husband and I can hardly wait to get home and make it again once we receive the recipes via email from Grazia. She made things simple and direct yet so much fun. There were two other ladies that were a part of our class and it was fun getting to know them and seeing that they too had the same experience and opinion of our lovely teacher and hostess. We highly recommend taking a class from Grazia, it is worth traveling into the residential area to visit her home of over 50 years with its charm and spacious kitchen. She will certainly make you want to eat homemade pasta every day. Mangiare!

Great way to learn to make fresh pasta. - I may never eat store bought pasta again! Pasta Mama taught us how to make fresh egg pasta in a way that was fun and delicious. I would highly recommend this class.

Fun but never received the promised recipes … - This was such a great time but we were promised recipes emailed to us after the event and I’ve reached out several times to both Viator and the host but have never received any replies which is disappointing as we very much looked forward to making these dishes at home …
