Great way to “meet Bologna” - This walking tour focuses on the central area of Bologna, and begins at Piazza Maggiore. Our guide shared a history of the city and the province, including the relationships over the centuries with Rome and the Vatican. Want to know why the Basilica facade and interior are unfinished? See the first teaching autopsy room? Stroll the streets of the market place to get your bearings for a return visit? This tour is for you! Our guide was outstanding!! The walking was concentrated in a small area and was easy to do.
