- Fontana del Nettuno - We’ll start from the Neptune Fountain , is our meeting point! You’ll have the occasion to see the iconic Neptune Fontain and Piazza Maggiore
- Piazza Maggiore - We’ll cross Piazza Maggiore, looking at San Petronio, the main Church of Bologna, then to enter to the (quadrialtero) and starts our Gastronomic experience
- Via Drapperie - We’ll stay in the centre to visit hidden locals grocery shops, we’ll have the Balsamic Vinegard tasting, we’ll be purchasing cold cuts and cheeses, different kind of breads and we’ll go to an iconic Osteria to taste everything with some local wine
- Via Guglielmo Oberdan - We’ll walk accros via Oberdan to visit another local Osteria and taste 2 main homemade pasta such as tagliatelle con ragu e tortellini with lambrusco wine
- Finestrella - we’ll visit the iconic finestrella of Bologna and we’ll take great pictures of 1 of the 7 secrets of the city, underground waterways of Bologna
- Piazza Santo Stefano - we’ll end our experience having the best gelato of Bologna in the most iconic square of the city!

We’ll guide you on a culinary adventure, revealing the secret spots beloved by the locals and not to be missed!
Our aim is to give you a taste of a typical day in our lives, the traditional social outings we participate in with our loved ones, tantalizing your palate with + 15 food and wine samples!
We’ll commence with an authentic Italian breakfast at the town’s finest pasticceria!
From there, we’ll head straight to savouring and purchasing a variety of cheeses, meats, and breads, all iconic of the Bologna region, always complemented with local wine.
We’ll stop by an ancestral family store where we’ll sample Aceto Balsamico!
As we stroll through the historic city centre, we’ll sample two quintessential homemade pastas at a traditional Osteria Bolognese, again accompanied by a local wine.
We’ll wrap up with the town’s best gelato!

Family tour of Bologna - We had a great time with Frederica. All locations aware great and the food and drink were amazing. We were visiting our daughter on Rome and decided to go up to Bologna for the day.

Great Food Tour - Roberta was awesome! We showed up late, which was completely my fault, and she still accommodated us and made it a great tour. Get the samurai gelato at the end.

AWESOME bolognia food tour with amazing guide - Roberta was super nice and very friendly. We had a lot of fun with our group and she was very informative on the foods that we ate at. Got to try the local bolognian food and the tour also had time for us to relax and get to know the people who were on the tour with us. Would recommend our guide and the tour itself to our friends.

Gastronomic tour of Bologna - Federicka was amazing! Great tour with a whole lot of eating. We had delicious food throughout the tour at wonderful places. Definitely a tour worth doing. Great way to sample some of Bologna’s finest and to also learn a bit of the city’s history. Truly enjoyable!

Great introduction to Bologna’s culture and food - Great local food tour presented in fun and informative fashion. Wonderful to do early in your stay so you can get an appreciation for much of what Bologna has to offer, especially the mortadella.

Balogna food knowledge on a plate... - A lovely tour of Balogna courtesy of Alice, a local guide booked through Vivator. 12 people in the group . Alice had a very charming manner and dispensed her knowledge with humour.
Breakfast pastries at the Cafe Imperico, a fascinating Balsamic Vinegar tasting at Guiseppe Giusti, cold cuts, cheese and sparkling wine in an osteria, a pasta sampling lunch with Lambrussco in a restaurant and an ice cream of your choice from 31 flavours in a family establishment. Amm excellent.
