Perched atop a travertine hill above its namesake town, Bojnice Chateau is among the oldest and most captivating landmarks in Slovakia. The last noble owner, John Francis Palfy, saw to it that the castle was renovated in the romantic, neo-gothic style inspired by French chateaux in the Loire valley. Make sure to relish the fully adorned interiors during your guided tour of the castle. After a lunch break, venture to the charming Cicmany village, recognized for its intricately adorned wooden houses. Please note that entrance fees are not included with Bojnice Chateau costing EUR 12pp and Cicmany museum priced at EUR 5pp.
