On this private journey, witness the eastern region of Mauritius, beginning with a tour to the Bois Cheri Tea Factory to understand how the renowned Mauritian tea is made. Following that, you’ll visit the Rhumerie St-Aubin to explore the conventional method of rum creation using sugarcane.
Subsequently, continue to Pont Natural to behold the waves colliding with the rocks, providing mesmerizing photo opportunities. Next, delight in a 3-course meal before proceeding to the Mahebourg Museum to get acquainted with the island’s history that traces back to the 18th century.
Further on, make your way to the Mahebourg local market, an expansive outdoor market featuring various local crafts and excellent mementos. Next, visit the Mahebourg waterfront, notable for the admired Bataille de la Passe.
