UNPARALLELED EXPERIENCE - Good morning, excellent service from Tatiana the guide and don Carlos the driver. The Cathedral of Salt is beautiful and is one of those places worth knowing in life.

Catedral de Sal, increíble! - The Salt Cathedral is immense! It’s very beautiful and quite ornately decorated. The lighting looks amazing and the fact that it is a functional church makes it even more incredible! I highly recommend going to see this Colombian wonder and spend some time marvelling at the design or sit in quiet contemplation.

Great place to visit - Not as crowded as they tell you. It is so much better than expected. We took a Uber for a round trip that costed us less than $100, including 2 hours waiting time. Try to avoid rush hours because traffic is very bad in Bogota.

Great tour and the guide was so informative and helpful - An interesting destination. The guide was amazing, friendly and helpful. Her job is hard. It’s like herding cats. Give people a time to meet and invariably they don’t bother. She had the patience of a saint. Her English was fantastic. The driver did so well in the horrendous traffic. The communal meal was fab. It’s always great to chat to people from other parts of the world. Language has no barriers in these situations and it’s what makes travel so awesome.

Trip to Salt Cathedral - Great day! Enjoyed this solo trip with a energetic and knowledgeable young woman guide, Tatiana, I believe. In addition to the cathedral, Zipaquira was an interesting town to wander around.

not an absolute must - we visited the cathedral on the way to Villa de Leyva. If you haven't visited a salt mine, it's worth it, if you know the plant near Krakow, you can skip it. Duration approx. 2 hours

Needs more Structure - I felt like this tour provided us with minimal guidance. They were not too communicative on where to meetup, I would have appreciated reference pictures and reminders day of. When we got to the salt mine the instructor ditched us and left us with a tour guide at the site or audio headset tour for English speakers. After the tour we had to wait a bit for bus to pick us up then we had lunch at Zipaquira. The lunch was amazing if it weren't for the great meal I would have left 2 stars.

Not in english - It was sold as English with a guide. The entire tour was in Spanish. An audio device was provided but did not convey one tenth of what the tour guide did. Very disappointing.
