Spectacular! - Went with two others to the waterfalls. This trip was absolutely amazing. Tour guide (Yulie) and driver were wonderful, everyone was on time and food was delicious. The hike wasn’t for the faint of heart. I’m fit and I was huffing and puffing. We worked up a good sweat and a good appetite but the whole experience was by far my favorite of my time in Colombia. Insiders tip, go during the week and you will be one of only a few on the trail.

Bogota Tour with Mr. Diego - When I visit a place I always wanted to learn about that place history and about that city. Mr. Diego rightfully met this requirement. He is very knowledgeable about the local history and explained to us in plain and simple English. The high lights of the tour are 1) Learning about Bogota. How it started and where it started and walking around important places of this old city where all the old houses are well preserved. 2) Fruit tasting: He took us to a place where we get an opportunity to taste local fruits which rare to South America. This was covered as part of tour. 3) coffee Tasting: We stopped at one of the coffee shop where we have tasted different varieties of Coffee and the shop guys showed us the proper way of preparing coffee. This is also covered as part of tour. 4) visiting different museums 5) The tour ended up in a restaurant where Diego thought us a local game which was played by local native Colombians. This was really fun ending where Diego sponsored us free Beer and let us play this game for a while. I highly recommend this tour as it was fun to learn about local culture, meet different people and was playful.

El chiflon /Chollera hike - Desayuno or breakfast in Español our tour guide recommended traditional food calentado. She explained cocoa industry growth in Columbia. she offered us chocolate tasting from her sampling chocolate sampling box. Our hike to the waterfalls was spectacular with us practicing our Español with our tour guide and Edgar from Mexico. Our guide kept the hike at our pace and gave us useful information along with the community working in the park.

Fun day, enjoyable hike and great guide - Really enjoyed this day trip! Our guide, Nick, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He let us set the pace of the hike and frequently made sure we were comfortable. The hike itself was a great balance between challenging and rewarding, with beautiful views throughout. We had plenty of food (breakfast, snacks and lunch) with various options for each. I felt like I learned a lot and appreciated seeing the rural part of Bogotá. Would definitely recommend! 😊

I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking an unforgettable outdoor adventure in Colombia. - Hiking to La Chorrera, was an awe-inspiring adventure that left me speechless! The journey began with a delicious, hearty breakfast, scenic drive through lush countryside, setting the tone for an unforgettable day ahead. As we embarked on the trail, the beauty of the Andean landscape unfolded before us, with verdant forests, cascading streams, and majestic mountains guiding our path. The hike itself was both challenging and rewarding, offering a perfect balance of exertion and serenity. As we ascended higher, the anticipation grew, fueling our determination to reach the breathtaking summit. It reminded me of the raw, untamed power of nature and the importance of preserving our planet's natural wonders for future generations to enjoy. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking an unforgettable outdoor adventure in Colombia.

Beautiful waterfall. Highly recommended! - It was a beautiful walk and an amazing waterfall. The walk is certainly not fun or doable for everyone. It is a 4-hour ascent and descent and the altitude makes you quickly get out of breath. But it was more than worth it. Our guide was Gabriella. Extremely nice, patient and she knew a lot about the area.

Highly recommended local tour - 100% recommended. The view is beautiful and the natural surroundings give a spectacular vibe! The guide Marcela was exceptional and very knowledgeable about the history and routes of La Chorrera!! I do recommend clarifying with your guide whether the waterfall has water or is dry, since it depends on the weather and the season of the year.

Incredible Landscapes - Overall, the experience was definitely worth it if you want to see some beautiful landscapes outside of Bogota and get some exercise. The hike was definitely tiring, but the waterfall was worth the effort. Bring a rain jacket and slip resistant hiking shoes, but water and snacks actually were provided upon arriving at the park. Breakfast and lunch were also tasty and very filling. It would have been really difficult to organize this on my own since the location is pretty remote. I do wish I had gotten more information about the plants/environment and stories in English (the guide mostly talked in Spanish even though it was booked as an English tour since a few in the group were Spanish speakers)
