Fun and educational tour! - One of our favourite things we did in Bogota. This was such a lovely experience from start to finish. Victor is the most friendly, thoughtful, engaging, and educational host. We ate SO MANY fruits. And we didn't just eat them, we got to learn about their history including which fruits are indigenous to Colombia, and how Colombians like to enjoy them (with condensed milk, or maybe perhaps in a tea or smoothie for its medicinal purposes, etc.). We even got to try some non-fruit snacks at the end - empanadas, cheesy bread and a Colombian hot chocolate type drink; so delicious. Victor was so kind, it felt like we had an old friend showing us around the market. He also comes super prepared with utensils, wipes, and hand sanitizer. Can't recommend this tour enough! Even if you're not super into fruit - it's such a cool experience. Thank you, Victor!

Gist of the experience: "wow" "yes" "yes!" - Wow! You should definitely, absolutely do this. Why? Val: She is an amazing guide. Knowledgeable, professional, passionate, fluent English... could go on, but I travel a lot and she stands out as a host and guide that can make time fly by because you are enjoying the tour so much. Five stars plus. Tour: You get to taste so many different fruits, see the market, learn about history and culture and the time and pace are well thought out. Price: You can't beat what you get for this price. It could easily be more, but I think the actual love of doing this and the passion are greater than the often found maximize the profit mentality. This is about passion for excellence. You are getting real value with this tour, and a memorable experience. One of the top highlights of my visit to Colombia.

My highlight in Bogotá - My personal Bogotá highlight! Paloquemao Market is a bustling place with delicious fruits and vegetables. Our tour guide Val was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, she ensured we had the best time on the market. We tried a huge variety of fruits and I would not want to miss it. This tour was perfect from start to finish. Everyone visiting Bogotá should go on this tour!

A great way to learn and experience Colombia through your tastebuds - The tour takes you through the stalls of the Paloquemao Fruit Market, tasting along the way. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and fun, and was able to convince my nine year old daughter to try all sorts of food that she never would have tried at home. The tour we did was in English, and our guide Valentina had a very extensive vocabulary and a lot of recommendations for other places to eat around town and in Cartagena. This was really one of the best tours I've ever done. It does run for a couple of hours, but if you have the time and you like fruit - you have to do this tour!

Fruit market - The tour was great. Victor is very enthusiastic and takes his time. We tasted 26 types of fruit and afterwards you are really full.

In addition, he presents everything to us in a precise order which allows us to maximize the flavors! A wonderful fruit market experience! - What a great way to experience Paloquemao market. Without the expert and insider knowledge of Victor, we would not have known the details of every type of fruit. The market could be overwhelming if you don’t know your way around. The cost was completely worth the knowledge, excellent English speaking guide and included fruit from many different stalls- over 20 fruits— as well as empanadas, and even paid for the bathroom! What a wonderful experience.

You are in great hands! - Victor anticipated our every need! Go hungry and pace yourself! The market is located next to IKEA. We enjoyed amazing fruit, coconut water, empanadas, a bean and chocolate drink, smoothies and the best avocado I have ever tasted! The guide spoke perfect English and made the tour fun!
