• Barrio La Candelaria - Designated as a National Monument in 1963, this area is formed by the convergence of the neighborhoods “La Cathedral,” “Egipto,” and “La Concordia.” It retains buildings from the 16th century, and its steep, stone-paved streets all bear names from the colonial era.
• Plaza de Bolivar de Bogota - The tour continues at Bolivar’s Square, home to the city’s most significant buildings.
• Catedral Primada de Bogota - Also located on the square, this Cathedral was constructed between 1807 and 1823 and is now recognized as a national monument.
• CASA DE NARINO - From the square, visitors can view the residence of the Colombian president.
• Museo Botero del Banco de la Republica - Departing from the square, a short walk leads to the Casa de la Moneda Museum, where the Botero Museum is located. It showcases masterpieces by Colombian artist Fernando Botero, as well as works by artists like Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso.
• Gold Museum (Museo del Oro) - The day’s first stop is the Gold Museum, which features over 35,000 pieces of pre-Columbian art. It is a must-see for all city visitors.
• Mount Monserrate - For those opting for the Monserrate experience, there is an opportunity to take a cable car to the hilltop, offering a breathtaking view of the city—a perfect conclusion to the day.
