Amazing horseback! - The tour guide, Angel, is completely fluent in English, was a super nice guy, and stayed with you the entire day (pick-up/drop-off and ride). The horse facility is surprisingly only 40 minutes from downtown Bogota. Jesus, the horse guide, was also very nice and friendly. The property is massive and set high in the mountains where you have tremendous views of the area from above.

Guadalupe to Monserrat - Excellent trip that definitely tested me. My girls had a great time and are ready to go again! The trip guide was knowledgeable and patient with us. I would recommend this trip to other horse enthusiasts.

One of the best. - We did not get to do the horse-riding trip because there was a landslide. We were fortunate to change it for another trip which the tour company was willing to do and was also given a refund. Jose the tour guide was very friendly and accommodative. Hats off to Viator.

Horse ride Guadalupe to Monserrate - Amazing experience on the most sure-footed of horses. Great views over the countryside. We passed farms and rode through forest. We also met the mule train that supplies the restaurants behind Monserrate. Luis was a friendly, knowledgeable guide.

Amazing one-in-a-lifetime experience - The guide Camila was 100% fluent in English and had very deep knowledge of Colombia's history and environment. My horse was a brave lady and got us through the most difficult, rocky paths 💪 I confirm what others have written: this is not for beginners at horseriding. But experienced riders should jump on the opportunity.

Great Adventure Excursion - I loved this excursion. The day began with short visit to the church at Guadalupe. From there we took a short drive and grabbed a light breakfast by the side of the road where we met the horses. The ride started out along country roads through farmland. About 1/3 of the way, the ride shifted to an exhilarating trail ride. We finished at Monserrate on a perfect Sunday with the parties in full swing (Domingo is a big day at Monserrate). It was all a blast. Our guides Diego and Francisco were very nice, and importantly, attentive. I have ridden on trails for my entire life and felt engaged the whole time. My friend had only ridden a couple of times ever and had an awesome time. This is no pony ride. The trails are steep, rocky and wet. The horses are sure footed and confident. The views are incredible throughout.

Very informative about the history - Very informative guide. Great experience. The house back ride was great but I don't think it would be for the inexperienced rider

We had an early morning trip despite having arrived on a late plane flight only four hours earlier (not by choice). The guide group was excellent in communicating with us beforehand and answering questions. Our guide accommodated our need for breakfast that morning and delayed the trip by 30 minutes. We had a treat at the top of the mountain as well before descending on our horses. Jorge Castiblancos was our guide and he had a vast amount of knowledge and was very professional as our guide. We very much enjoyed talking with him. He oriented us to the region and skillfully described the different regions and the vast biodiversity found in Columbia. Javier knows his animals and the two of them helped us to feel very comfortable and safe the entire trip. This was a great way to start off our Columbian adventure and it was especially fun for my wife for whom this was her first time in a Latin American country. If you’re considering this trip I would advise you to think about three things. First the altitude. If you’re not used to the altitude you can have symptoms of altitude sickness. Luckily we didn’t have a problem and the horses did most of the exercise but you may consider waiting a couple days before going to higher altitude. Also make sure to use sunscreen and wear a hat and appropriate clothing. Also think about the animals. It’s likely that your shoes and pants can get muddy. This is also not a trip for first timers on a horse. Some of the inclines and declines are a little bit intense and sometimes the horses need some guiding to stay in order. I never felt like my life was in danger. And lastly the climate or weather. The forecast always reported a rain but each day the report changed. Generally speaking the mornings are more sunny.

Hello, so we did the... - Hello, so we did the horseback riding tour yesterday and it was beautiful. However, the description said a snack was included and that was false. We went to the first stop and went to get on the horses and I was still expecting food, but none ever came so by the time we got to the end of the horseback ride I was dying. So we had to stop and get food at one of the food stands at the top of the mountain. Other than that it was amazing. But I don’t think you guys should advertise that you offer food if you don’t because that is kind of a key issue especially for a six hour excursion. If no snack was going to be given to us, he should’ve said some thing, and then I would’ve bought some food at our first stop from one of the vendors.
