I guarantee you will not look at coffee the same way. - Being a coffee farmer for a day was an unforgettable experience! I was immersed in the rich culture and intricate process of coffee cultivation. The day started with a warm welcome from the local farmers, who shared their deep knowledge and passion for coffee production. I learned firsthand about the meticulous care that goes into growing and harvesting coffee beans, from tending to the plants to handpicking the ripe cherries. This activity allowed me to truly appreciate the labor of love behind every cup of coffee. I left with a deeper understanding of the journey from bean to cup and a heart full of gratitude for the opportunity to be a coffee farmer, if only for a day. I highly recommend this activity to anyone seeking a hands-on and enriching experience that celebrates the true essence of coffee culture. I guarantee you will not look at coffee the same way.

We learned so much! - From beginning to end the tour was fantastic. Got to see some of the countryside outside Bogota on our way there - to include the cloud rainforest. Once we arrived the staff was amazing, the food was delicious, Karen (our guide) was so knowledgable and engaging, we learned so much about the entire process and went home with a suitcase full of coffee. Loved it!

Tour Café - Las Campesinas - The coffee farm experience was really cool. Along the way, the guide Lorena explained all the biomes, animals and curiosities about the region. The La Campesinas finca was run by Marcela, who taught us the entire coffee process, she alone is worth the trip, it's nice. Furthermore, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a typical dish for lunch, all washed down with lots of coffee too.

Absolutely loved this coffee experience! - This was so informative! Worth every dollar…I had no idea how much work goes into a cup of coffee. Learned about the plants, their life cycle, the time to harvest, the types of roasts and why that matters, the types of ways to prepare coffee, etc. Great lunch too!

Fantastic Experience! - Our guide, Marcela (also the name of the owner of la Campesena), was phenomenal. The drive to and from the farm were full of beautiful vistas and we loved the stop to learn about the Paloma ecosystem (which we did on the way back because of weather). Karen hosted our farm experience, and she was funny, patient, and so great at passing on her knowledge and answering our questions. We did not visit during a harvest period, so the pickings were slim. I had been a little dubious when I booked this tour about what we would actually get to do at all this time of year and was super impressed with how much we could see and learn and do--there were even little coffee cherries that were late in ripening that we were able to practice picking. We are a family of 4 traveling with two teenage boys, and they actually enjoyed this whole experience, which is quite an accomplishment!

Great time at the coffee farm. - I had a great day with Karin at the coffee farm. I learnt a lot about what is good coffee and what considered to be a bad coffee. Also different processes of producing coffee and to processes also. Unfortunately there were not so much coffee berries to be picked as the picking season is already over but still I had a great time there at the farm. The breakfast and lunch was really nice also.
